    Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference, if there is one, between the older 4.0 bar regs on early golfs and rados and the 3.0 bar as fitted to late cars including highlines as i dont know if i need to get one. Thanks people

    I put a valve on mine although not vf charger mines a z-engineering. Made the car sound different and only made a noise(if thats what your after) on overrun it hissed sounded quite good but i think i was loosing boost as on boost it may have been pushing the valve open. Ive taken it off till i hook my boost gauge up. I will update you when i sort it.

    I use autosol on mine every couple of weeks just to get rid of the light scratches and just soap and water every time i clean the car. Brasso wadding is good for a quick buff up and also meguiars nxt wax is great the first time i used it i didnt wash my wheels for 3 weeks (yes, gasp, shock horror) and literally the dirt just fell of even with just a cloth!

    Yea your right, i hope it will but i want to use the original lighting just permantly on with the ignition(as per new vag group cars)cos cant get to the bulbs on the sealed units and if i use acetate probably wuldnt be able to see it in the daylight but i will try and see. Cheers guys

    Yes mate thanks for that exactly what i needed but looks like its not gonna be as easy as i thought looks like all the lighting is one wire oh well might have to just trace the positive off the main board but thanks for the perfect response matey!!!

    Can anyone possibly help me i am in the process of converting all my interior bubls to blue leds and need a wiring diagram of the wires to the speedo as the lcd displays on the late clocks are sealed. What i planning to do is use some blue acetate in front of the 2 displays but i it will be difficult to see in daylight so i want to light just the lcd's with the ignition so they are visible all the time. Thanks in advance

    Can anyone help me i have just been offered some brembos. Can anyone measure the distance between the mounting holes on a standard late vr caliper(if you have one off that is) Cheers guys
