    I have competitions i polished myself. Autosol them every now and again but the best thing to use is brasso wadding availiable at any hardware stor for 2-3 quid. The good thing is its not abrasive and you dont need anything else so will just remove dullness tarnishing and water stains. After brassoing them spray some lubricant like wd-40 all over them. wd is ok but find one with silicone in it. dry any drips of leave it to dry then just polish with a microfibre cloth. The dirt just falls off next wash then just repeat

    As i bought it feb last year with some new lights and the private plate removed Just had to do it lol In need of a wash New wheels Feedback for the white paint on the wheels had a few people not liking it but just think it looks different as tt competitions have been done to the death (needs lowering) There you go, still needs to go down at the back (ahhh the beauty of coilovers) nice new plates too Crystal smooth fogs arriving tomorrow much needed os fog rusty! The works daily driver on 24's (i wish) any Land Rover, Bentley, Jaguar or Lotus parts needed just pm me?? Hope you all

    there is a big adjuster in the bottom corner where the electric motors go on a standard headlight. If you turn these (its fairly hard you would need pliers) then the beam adjusts in big steps then use the white knobs for fine adjustment hope this clear things up for ya and stops anyone having a head-on with ya ha ha

    So just to clarify (sorry aint got money to waste) the long os driveshaft from a gti WILL fit my vr6 ?

    Just a quickie to try and help me out. On gsf website its saying the inner and outer cv's are the same as the vr6 on gti 8v and 16v so will the complete driveshaft (the long one)fit a VR ???

    Please tell me there is a simple solution and not knackered engine. Car has always breathed heavily i changed the standard breather to small filter but this was too messy so used a catch tank worked great at first but now popping stick out again any ideas guys PLEASE

    Hope someone out there can solve my problem. I have a Z-engineering supercharger on my highline and ever since ive had the car it leaves a little puddle of oil from the air filter. It killed one MAF from oil coating so yesterday i decided to put a cranckcase breather or filter from the outlet on the back of the rocker cover to cure it. Took it out for a spin came back and lots of smoke was coming from said breather filter and it spat oil everywhere out of it. Any ideas PLEASE HELP :@ :@ :@ :@ :@

    Sparkz you do know me you fitted an alarm on my yellow xr2 back in the day when you had your black ax remember....i've that mint escort series one for about 6 years but made the switch to veedub bout 3-4weeks ago. iI also know onus with the blue vento? We shall have to catch up soon got about a million questions bout the vr and some bits need doing on tha car thought maybe you could point me in the right direction!!!

    Hello. Just bought a set of tt competitions. Only paid £150 for them !lol (Yes £150). 1 is mint and original the other 3 have been polished and refurbed at some point but all 3 need repairing as the lips have been kerbed and would need welding and building up? and the 4th would need doing to match the others. Can anyone recommend a refurber. Cheers guys

    Hello. More than likely its a fuse check youe interior light and if it still works if not its either the bulb or the interior light fuse i think its number 23 but cant remember. The central locking, clock and interior light all run off the same fuse. Good luck :! :!

    Does anyone out there know where the vacuum pipe from the dump valve would go to . I've seen pics of mintys engine bay and i can see where the valve bolts on to but cant see where the vacuum pipe goes any help possibly pics cos im rubbish !dodge . Also age old question but a crankcase breather, would it solve my problem of oil dripping back from supercharger and out of air filter and if so do i just block the pipe wher the old breather used to run to Thanks People this forum is the best !amazed !amazed !amazed

    Hello new to the forum and vr6 ownership but have said problem. When i switch the car off there is a puddle of oil coming from the filter which is right down in the inner wing because of the charger any ideas please help. ?! ?! ?!
