    Why is this thread so hard to understand Standard wheels are 6.5 not 7 and around et35.....so will poke 17mm more than standard If you already have 928's at 7 et27 then et12 is gonna poke 15 more????? FYI when an inch is added i.e. 7j or an 8j the width is added to the overall.....they wont stick out an inch more The best calc is here www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp but its down at the moment

    Cant get 15mm bmw adapters off the shelf so would only be custom and 1et DOES equal 1mm only if the wheel isnt changing at all i.e. new dish! If they are 16x7 wide you could use 20 mm H&R adapters, which have steel insert so less chance of stripping the thread, and be at 7J et12 which will be perfect.

    This is the same wheel drilled to 4x100 so will be the same with 1 more hole.

    The lower the et the smaller number = more poke so adapters will make the et smaller! are they the e36 style 5's like richies....if so they csnt be redrilled as the 5x100 will be too close too the middle as bmw wheels have a large centrebore!

    Lol that didnt take long Tony !!!!! I sent the a section from under the seat....needs to be bigger than a 5p iirc! It feels ok....a little stiff but but once i condition them should sort it out. Need to be left 7 days before any cleaning. Thanks guys

    Thought i'd start a new thread for this. bought these seats from a fellow member. also bought a repaired drivers seat rear cover as it was pretty bad as with all CC recaros. Got the medium recolouring kit from http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Colourant_Kit.htm which was around £70 with the colour match, which is a touch too light as i took the sample from underneath the seat grrr....lesson learned, so im probably gonna do the rear seat to match as there is plenty left over. The kit was very complete and to my surprise very good quality!!! Got rid of loads of cracks, mainly the ones on

    Well the seats are done and they turned out absolutely amazing! The colour is ever so slightly lighter as the sample came from under the seat so hasnt had much light...but as ive done both front seats and armrest its doesnt show! Pics up tomorrow once they are in!!!

    It physically fits but doesnt plug in. Mine came off a breaker so pinched the other part of the connector too !!!!

    Yes direct fit as long as its just the block, all ancillaries use your exixting obd2! Im runnin anABV obd2!!!

    Check again with vagcom....if it still says left rear...then its probably your ecu!

    Too smooth for me...looks like a punto one or somethin! BMW 1 series one for me.....til the tailgate gets painted......aero to match the front!

    Yea i sent them a sample as it wasnt on file so should be in their records now! Couldnt find the colour code as such but yea its is the highline mulberry mate. Pics will be up at the end of the week hopefully!

    if its 8v youll need the gearbox and selectors and i thin k the pedal box too as 16v and vr use cable change box, hydraulic clutch and 8vs dont!
