    Hi i have a 93 K plate Vr6 Golf with a funny problem the fuel tank only seems to take about 40 litres at a time i have even run out of fuel before thinking it must be a guage problem but it's not, i ran out and still only just managed to get 40 liters in i thought it was 55 litre tank??? or am i wrong??? Help please!!! (au)

    Sorted phoned C AND R and they confirmed with G-max with the info printed on struts that they are the wrong ones!!! The pain is even though they are sending me the right ones out now well a whole new kit, i have to take the rears apart again!!! Good job i did it myself and not paid a garage to do it!!

    Spent 3 hours this afternoon putting my new suspension on only to finish the front with no real problems just the totally seized bolts took alot of elbow grease!!! Anyhow got the old rears out and went to get the new struts from the G-MAX box inthe boot and they are differant!!! My old BOGE strutts fitted have a plate half way down for the springs to sit in but the new ones dont!!! tried tapping this off the old strutts and putting onto the G_MAX kit but it just slid over the shaft!!! BUM!! Ordered them over the phone from CandR enterprises the box does say Mk3 golf on it though!!! AM i missi

    Paid £2750 could of got a newer higline model maybe for the money, but i like the old skool ones!!!!:-)

Paid top dollar but with 35k on the clock and very comprehensive history it was worth it!!! Roll on tomorrow so i can go for another spin!!

    If it was winter i say no but this time of the year i would get it done asap, running along ok but if you get stuck in traffic you will get very hot i would imagine!!!

    Well got a second hand ISV in and it has made no difference at all, starts and runs fine for about 2-3 mins then the idle starts rising sharply to about 1500 then back down and all over the place and if driving like this the car really struggles!!! Could it now be the MAF?? car is fine on the motorway and at speed, just a little bit underpowered. any ideas?? x) x)

    Well i have found a solution if i block the hose that runs from my ISV to my Bonrath ind kit the idle returns to normal!! so a new ISV is now on the way!! second hand of course! i tried cleaning it to no avail in fact after a night saking in my parts washer it was worse!!! will update when new ISV turns up and is fitted! Then its off to Storm for a full service and tune up!1

    Hi all, got a problem with my '92 Vr6 Golf when you start the car the engine revs up to about 2-3k then settles down but is very erratic and little lumpy driving at times almost no power at all it is usually fine when up to speed on motorway just around town it is troublesome! Any ideas where to look? went to Salisbury VW and they would not touch it as it is modified!!! Bonrath ind kit and powerflow exhaust! Fussy Buggers!! ~

    Hello all, I have a 93 k plate vr and i just cant get it to start!!! There was at first no fuel or spark, now i jumped 12v to fuel pump and that ran up fine, so took apart the fuel pump relay and cleaned the contacts and now i have fuel!! The engine cranks over fine and all belts turning. However still no spark! it has a new coil fitted and there is a 12v feed to coil present with the ignition on. I pull out a lead and put a plug in and i see no spark! i have also cleaned the crank sensor. Please can anybody help??? i also tried a new ECU i bought off ebay and that still has made no differance
