    i would go mental at them mate ! thats why i never let any1 touch my car i think you should be in for some compinsation as that is gross negligence ant it could have killed some1 i would go for it see what you can get out of them ! they would deffanatly be paying for a hire car !

    you can make your owm looms with heaver wiring just use the normal wire as a signal wire and use a relay that can handle the load for both dip and main beam . if you dont want to do this i would unplug your dim dip resister as you will probably burn the bulbs out if you leave the sidelights on for any lenght of time

    my affair with the vr6 started when i was a left collage and stared working in my local vw garage . mk 3 golfs had not been out long the vr was the daddy i remember my first drive in one on pdi and that was it i wanted 1 . but being on £150 a week at the time and a vr being a good 15k i had to wait . i left vw for a few years then went back and my vento came in on part x for 1500 it had done 100k and had full vw service history . one of the blokes at my old place had been pestering me for my mk2 16v and i sold that to him for 1500 so my vr cost me nothing f plate 16v to m plate vr . i never

    think ypu will find its your dim dip resistor . you can unplug it it puts your headlights on dim with the sidlights

    they will fit you just might need to change the springs as the spring rate will differ from a 16v to a vr6 . mind a mk2 golf didnt have a vr6 in and most people have coilovers i know my mate has . just give it a go fella what you got to loose

    i bet it was do miss bug jam but its not the same when ya not racing . i wish i had the money to raceiagain maybe in a few years in the vr if i can make it fast enough at least 12s lol . the bug would need a full rebuild now as they have toughened up the regs on roll cadges plus the box is shot and it needs a engine as i sold my one and my mate sold his to fund his immigration to oz .

    not at all they are ace just ask GaVR6in he tryed to follow me through a tight bend coming back from gti fest and nearly lost it lol. the exaltos are very good in the wet ive used them on my last 2 cars they transformed my mk2

    iwhen i put my bushes on made the car feel tighter mind my rear axel bushes were f***ed and the car was rear steering under heavy braking at speed

    ive got 205 46 16 on mine did have a slight problem with the arches but mine is quite low

    i should be up for this as gav has come to southend twice now i feel i should make an effort . mind i just remembered im in luton for a poxy course so i might be able to do it on the way back only thing is i might not be in my car
