Hi, long time mate. I didn't think the day would come either tbh but it's that time. Definitley be good to catch up soon.

Hello mate. I hope it does sell as I have no intention of breaking it into small peices. Too much time and money have gone into it so I'd prefer it go to a good home where it will actually get driven more than once or twice a month. Preferably somewhere far from where I live so I don't see it lol. How's yours going? Fast by the sounds of it. 11.85 eh?

Just popped in to say hi to those who know me and those who don't. It's been a while since I've posted or even attended a show but I do log in and have a browse every now and again. Sadly the day I thought would never arrive has come and my beloved VR of 7 years is now up for sale here http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?492054 . It's not a decision I've taken lightly but needs must as they say. I have no plans to get another anytime soon but this place is so addictive, I won't be saying goodbye to you all. Just sitting behind my screen remeniscing and probably drown

Wow. Everyone does their thing a little bit different I guess.... Any ideas what sort of readings are showing on the boost gauges?

I'd use wheel bearing grease as it's more suited. From memory, I think it's called LM grease. I don't think CV joint grease would be up to the job as it's a lot thinner and not as high temp. Kevin

That's the stuff Craig. I think they call it Momentum now.

performance front pads
spindat45 replied to beardyvr6's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
I went for Ferodo DS2500 pads with dimpled and grooved discs on mine. I can't fault them and I've never felt that they needed to be warmed up to work properly. My discs came as a package with red stuff pads which I sold and bought the Ferodos. They aren't the cheapest of brake pads but like you, I wanted to stop instead of crash. Well worth the money imo. Struggles to Idle when started
spindat45 replied to Rossymond's topic in I.C.E, Security an Electrical
Have you cleaned inside the throttle body? I had a similar problem with mine. I took off the throttle body, gave it a good clean internally with carb/injector cleaner and it cured it. It's something I used to do as part of a service when I worked at a garage years ago. Might be worth a try. Kevin -
Z Engeneering Super Chaerger Kit? Good/Bad? Advice please!
spindat45 replied to Tindall_7's topic in Engine Tuning
Good chargers imo. Not the biggest power output compared to some but very easy to fit if you have all the parts as they aren't oil fed. There are a few variations on the pulleys and belts which will determine whether it is a ZR1 or ZR2 and what PSI it will run. Take a few pics of it when you go to view it and post them. A few of us on here (myself included) have them fitted or may have in the past. Kevin -
Hi Rikki. Give Pat a call mate. He would know. Kevin

Just out of interest, what was the cause if the problem? Kevin
