Hi again. i OWN A 97 VR6, pulling from stand still, the car will judder and even backfire somtimes until the revs get higher. the car does not seem like the monster it once was. In the warmer weather i thought the problem was cured. Any ideas. Thanks

I have put some mk4 style headlight on my mk3 vr6. They work, but i get huge beams of light out from the side and above. Anyone else had this problem? Cheers N

Hey guys, just a quickie that i thought i would never come across. Is this a common problem? I have a standard mk3 Golf Vr6 with an uprated Milltek exhaust, and now that im lowering on coilovers it seems to be sandwiching itself between the underneath of the car and the axle. The car is low, but would like to go more, but as its knocking already will it go from bad to worse? Cheers.

Hi Guys, ED38 show last weekend was a great turn out, and all the cars there as ever, were top class!! I have a question for all you low riders out there, my mK3 is on coilovers, and when i come to slam it, the camber is put out and wears down the tyres. But how come no garage, can adjust the camber on REALLY low cars. There must be a way, any ideas? Cheers N

Hi guys, again!! My car has been pulling to the left for about a year and no garage has a clue, and it driving me insane. Went into another garage today, and they swapped the rear tyres to the front and the front to the back, and got worse to the point it was pulling the steering wheel. Swapped back again and got better, but still pulls.....what the hell is going on? The camber and tracking is spot on aswell. Please help Neil

He did it for me as a favour on a Sunday, so I dont really have any come back with no reciept. The whole lot was done for £80.

Camber was set at Kwik Fit when they fitted the suspension

Hi Guys. Have gone through a front pair of tyres in less than 6 months. Had the tracking & camber done b4 tyres, but still drifts to the left v badly. The car is v low on fk coilovers and I just wondered if the lowness is the prob, and if so what can be done to enjoy a low car without going through tyres. Hope you can help Neil

Hi guys!! I’m getting a loud humming noise in the car I think it may be a wheel bearing (what else could it be?) How can I tell which one has gone? Is there an signs? And finally is it a job for a garage or can I do it as my garage charged £80. +vat which I think is steep. Hope you can help Neil

Hi Guys Ive been told that on my '97 vr6 there is an anti-thrash sensor to stop it being reved when it is cold. As I start it when cold and rev it it will not reach 6000rpm but come down and get all chuggy until warm. Have you heard of such a thing? Neil

Hi Guys, I thought aftermarket exhausts should be the same bore diameter as the manufacturer? I was thinking about getting a Milltek but the bore is smaller, now im swaying to a Jetex as the bore is the same 2.5inch. How important is this? Cheers Neil
