Just thought i'd better add, in case you thought I was being really thick, that obviously we appreciate the condition this car is in and that the engine conversion makes it that extra bit special so it is worth more than a standard 2.9. I'd budgeted on spending £5kish to get one in really good condition and came across this by chance, which is considerably more than we wanted to spend, but I'm hoping it will be worth it.

Hi, we're new on here. Have owned 3 mk2 gtis and 3 Corrados and are on the look out for a VR6. We are going to look at the above car tomorrow, which is advertised on the for sale section. Everyone gave it good comments and just wanted opinions really on how rare this car is, and if it is a good purchase. Also, would we be able to supercharge it in the future, as my hubby will inevitably utter those words 'it needs more power'! I think it's putting out 240bhp at the mo. What could you expect to get if it was supercharged - sorry but I'm not that technical, I just tell him if we can afford
