    Last post by me sounds dumb now I've realsied there are 6 pages of this and not just the 1 that I read before I replied - I'm new, bare with me !!! Can I buy a heat shield to protect my ram air ? I've got a cold feed pipe but I'm sure it needs shielding

    Can you definatly get early vr's remapped, mines a '92 AAA, and I'm short of the 200 mark !!! Mines just had new plugs,lead,cap,rotor arm, and its got a ram air induction kit, and just a scorpion back box, and at a rolling road session with the local gti region, mine made dead on 190BHP, this hasn't cost much to get it here, but the magic 200 still laughs at me when I sleep !!!!!

    mine is doing exactly this, running at 70ish all the time, only just moving off the line, but at a stand still/idle it gets up to dead on 90 ????? My car also smells slightly of fuel after I give it a bit of a ranting but I've been told to possibly check the coolant temp sender as this would explain the intermittant temp guage and the over -fuelling ??? Any thoughts ??? '92 vr6 AAA code george :-( :-( :-(

    Hiya'll I took part in a local rolling road event yesterday with the local Club GTi (newport) crowd, was an awesome day and I was pleased with my run - I think ! I'm after a bit of translating the figures in relation to what my car should've been as standard : My car - '92 AAA Engine code, Ram air induction, scorpion stainless exhaust, everything else stock. The figures were all done in fourth gear : 190.0 BHP accord to DIN 70020 180.0 BHP - Engine Output 139.5 BHP @ the wheels Drag = 40.5 BHP Torque = 243 Nm Max @ 115 mph, 5970 rpm Air pressure - 999 mbar Intake air = 4500 mbar Optinal Press

    The standard speakers are RRRRRUBISH in my Mk3 golf VR6 Is there anywhere that sells a complete set of upgrade speakers ?? Any ideas (m) (m) (m)
