I've done a search but no joy, will the 5 spoke speedline wheels that came on some vr6 corrados fit straight onto a 96' golf highline with out spacers/problems etc. They are 6.5 x 15 et43 5 x 100 pcd. Thanks

Cheers Rich, don't know where to get any dub stuff from really, so will have a look at venom and eurotek. I used to get stuff for the pug from www.motorsportworld.co.uk but they don't do FK. Not sure which company had them on the stand I can't remember Interesting to hear of the problems cabrioman, do you know if this is common with this style or was it a dodgy set you had? Cheers

Hello jon! Yeah.. I mean I probably could of got away with not doing the chains but i want to maintain it properly and I am much happier now having the piece of mind that all is well Have you posted pics of your new ride yet!? I can't see any?

Sounds sweet mate, got new oil too so its clean as! The mechanic said its a very well looked after vr and one of the best he has seen in a long time

What is the advantage of a neuspeed 160 degree thermostat?

No havn't replaced it, dunno about losing coolant, it does go down after a while but i check it regularly and did once put a wynns stop leak in it but then i saw a few people saying that their coolant goes down after a while and that its normal so i forgot about it. Theres no drips on the drive or anything so... I found out that the problem with not starting was a sticky starter motor, i hit it with a broom handle and tried it and it started straight away lol. I've tried it a few times and it seems fine, im going to keep a piece of wood in the car to hit it with incase it happens again. Never

Just forget i ever posted this, we bump started it. I hadn't left anything on though, why was the battery flat, and wouldnt mind knowing what that 'thing' is still! lol

Car won't start! Just gone in the garage, unlocked it as normal, got in, gone to start it and nothing. Makes no attempt to start whatsoever, no clicking or anything from starter motor. There is battery power as all the dash lights come on, radio works etc. I looked under the bonnet and this thing was whirring, sounded like a little fan, when you tap it it whirrs faster!? What is this thing, the circular thing with wires going into it? Any ideas what is wrong guys?
