  1. Here is what the bits looked like: £45 an hour - 8 Hours labour.
  2. It was eight hours labour mate, i have made a new thread now with pics if you're interested
  3. Well guys it's all done, I have the vr back from Auto-solutions1 Had the chains, guides and tensioners done with new clutch. Also had engine and gearbox oil changed. All parts were new genuine stuff. Total for parts labour and including vat was £764.00 After i had paid he adjusted my lights for free, the courtesy car was free too. Very pleased with the service and car feels great! All the old chains guides n stuff is in a bag at home so will get pics up soon! Labour was £45.00 p/h by the way...

  9. Yeah it looks a sensible height, mine is 40mm but on standard rims so lower to the floor but not as full in the arches, could do with it a bit more like yours really, looks good. My splitter would scrape in that car park where that red vr is..!

  13. Just dropped the VR6 off at the garage to have chains done and new clutch, should be back tomorrow. I've got a 1.6 astra as a courtesy car lol. Miss the VR already
  14. Mines being done today, the whole lot with clutch too at 67k P plate. I would rather have that piece of mind and enjoy driving it as thats what i bought it for. If im going to own the car for a while then sooner rather than later is better imo

  16. Can anyone suggest some decent looking wheels preferably 16's that would look good on a mulberry vr. I want some new ones for the summer but dont know what to get or where from? Any advice opinions or suggestions welcome! Cheers!
  17. 'Side exit exhaust'....sounds good saying it but i reckon it would look pants on most cars
  18. Its very simple and free to use webcam on msn, just download one of the later versions. Not sure about video calling though...
  19. Wouldn't you be left with a cut out in the rear bumper for where the exhaust is meant to go.....that would look gash.

  22. The garage is called Autosolutions, it came recomended to me by a friend of mine who is another mechanic. I will let you all know how it all goes. I dont think there are many people from my area though are there? Garage is about 10 mins from Reading centre by the way.
  23. I know the phirm are top dogs but although they are relatively near, the place im going to is 5 mins away and i know they have done lots of vr conversions plus the guy drives the mk2 vr van that he built himself so reckon they are good. Oh and i dont want to wait 3 weeks!
