Hello all! Does any one know of a GOOD bodyshop in the North West? So far I've had some expensive and dismal experiences with bodyshops. No one seems to be interested unless it's a simple spray job or an insurance related repair. Without naming names, MATLINGS of Lancashire are Wan***s. I would like my front and rear bumpers smoothing and spraying, properly. Can anyone recommend a place? Cheers.

do you think doing the german flag thing like on the GTI-R concept car is a bit OTT? Thats what I was gonna do on mine.

I went round and tightened everything up as tight as it would go and there doesn't seem to be any knocking at all now. Handles great!!!!! I'd well recommend the FK Highsports. Just right in my opinion. I just need to set the ride heights properly now and get it aligned somewhere. Cheers for the advice

Hey! Finally got the nuts off and put all my suspension on today!! Hooray!! One slight problem though, the nearside front is knocking. Is this something which just ain't tight? Does anyone have the torque settings for the suspension? Many Thanks

Well I normally get about 18/20 round town but about 28/30 on a long run out. I definately dont drive like a grandad!!!

a bolster like a brick bolster you mean? I've tried whacking a 19mm socket over the thing but I just can't get it to grip properly. Really stuck!!

I've finally got round to fitting my nice shiny new suspension but have hit a big problem. I've lost my friccin locking wheelnut tool!!!! Can't find it anywhere. It's one of those tri-lock style jobbies. Whats the best way to go about getting them off? Cheers guys.

Does any one know if these dials would be worth buying? I wanna create a MK4 VAG sort of look (red, blue, white) in my MK3 golf. Pictures can sometimes deceive so I was wondering if anyone had seen these in the flesh. Cheers for any help.

I get better mpg from optimax. I've been putting morrissons stuff in which just seems to just run out in a day. rubbish!!! I presume the car would be slightly quicker if run on optimax?

EXCUSE THE SHOCKING SUBJECT HEADLINE but.... I have just put some 16" BBS RS wheels on my car. They look great but the car isn't quite low enough. They already rub on the back (8.5" wide) and on the front (7" wide with 20mm spacers) I'm sure they will if I lower the car any more. I want to lower the car an extra 70mm over standard. What will I have to do to make this work? Can I just get the front and rear arches rolled and pulled. Do you reckon this would work? I'm going to fit coilovers to the car so the suspension will be nice and stiff. I've seen it done before so I know its possible. Che
