  1. Hi, i posted already but only seem to of got 10views and no replies. http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?474454 These will also fit the VR6 Golfs and Passats. I'm not selling these, just trying to share a good deal and help get some more names on the list.
  2. Hi i have been signed up here for a while but don't post very often. i usually on the corrado forum. What i am looking to do is share this link to a group buy on the forum, Its for front and rear engine mounts and a lot cheaper than the alternatives http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?64857-NEW-Group-Buy-VR6-Polyurethane-engine-mounts-just-£64-a-set I'm not sure if corrado and golf mount inserts are the same yet, but will find out. Its not me making the mounts, i'm not getting any money out of it.
  3. useful link here, and explains the models http://wiki.the-corrado.net/category_general_corrado_info.html
  4. i think car enthusiasts should do the same, let them know there are people who enjoy driving and this is a tax on enjoyment for us thats how i see it anway. hooray for the truckers!!

    Gruvenparts

well i don't need it and it cost a few quid so i will be selling it on ill let you know, its still not arrived at the moment
  10. i bought the gruvenparts bits and got a Y-piece, which now i believe isn't for the corrado VR6, but a golf? is this right? think i have bought something i don't need this is the bit
  11. pics of what i have, not sure if its any help by now
  12. not all discs will crack, mainly just cheap ones. the super german cars with drilled discs, have the disc put in when they are cast, not drilled afterwards
  13. some better drawings, the two types of shocks are different, early and late style EARLY LATE don't do what i did and fit the bumpstops and covers the wrong way round
  14. most drilled discs are drilled after they are made, this is what can lead to them cracking around the holes, grooves can aid cooling of the pad surface, but also wear the pad quicker and they can be noisy under heavy braking. in all honesty you shouldn't really need drilled or grooved discs.

  16. i'd stay away from drilled discs they can be weak and start to crack around the holes, and grooved are quite noisy. am halfway through upgrading mine to 288mm brakes and probably getting standard VW items,
  17. weird, wonder why its cheaper when its probably the same pipe, mine seemed slighty short as well
  18. christ, £90 an hour, i'd not use them tbh samcos were alot more than £160 when i looked into it, for corrado, plus you have to wait for 6weeks
  19. that is expensive :! 2.5hrs? :! thats also a long time :! i never like to use VW for work, only parts
  20. does it drive still tho? mine using a lot of oil and others owner i've met have also commented at how much they get through can't say i've checked exhaust tho
  21. did you say that you managed to keep on driving it? did your water temp go up at all?
  22. does the pipe from fuel filler run within the rear arch? i've had problems with wheels rubbing on that with a previous car
  23. i'll be interested to see if the hose is the same one, for the corrado i had to pay just over £50 for the hose :!
  24. any car can be good modified tho, its off the shelf performance they review
