thanks 6potmkII, youve been a great help, i didnt realise missing would actually affect consumption, im changing the plugs and leads 2moz so will see what happens before i get it on the vagcom, oh and shorty i wouldnt of known about it guzzling fuel if i didnt have an highline prior which could get 32 mpg!!!you should get yours checked out too me thinks:)

ive cleaned it all out with injector cleaner, aint made no difference to the mpg and as far as i know its only ot a zorst and filter, i defo need new plugs and leads as one is dodgy and causing a misfire, that couldnt have anything do with it could it? -- sorry yes blonde female here haha, im pretty sure its not a major problem but i want it purrr-fect:D

my car is also doing only about 24mpg max when driving like a granny!!! i just sold an highline model last week and that did 32mpg, only went down too 25 mpg with pure thrash so somethings defo not right with this new one, who does these vagcom things???

yeah found it thanks loads, keep your fingers crossed that sorts the judder for me:) im going change plugs and leads monday too i think as 1 does look dodgy....its taped up for some reason

can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is please? just trying change it now, the vr6 i have seems a bit lumpy on tickover and sometimes on normal drive, the car i as been sitting for 6 months so i think its fired some shit through when ivbe put petrol in after all that time?? any ideas on that one too:)
