[Headunit Help!!!]

just had mine checked it was the barrel because switch the engine on and the radio still did not work twisted the key back to the left a little bit and radio and engine stayed on.

is it the ignition barrel to the stereo failing?it seems to be the barrel is it through wear and tear where the connection inside the barrel is not connecting when the engine is on and the key does not engage for the power of the radio

i think i have the same problem my stereo stopped working while i was driving so i stopped and switched the key half way and the stereo worked.Then i switched the engine on but the stereo did not work, after i switched the engine on and held the key to the right keeping it there. engine and stereo on let go of the key stereo goes off and engine stays on.I was wondering if you have solved the problem.Is it the ignition barrel?Ive already checked the wires and connection they all seem fine.Totally comfused!

[radio stopped working]

radio stopped working while driving so i stopped the car and turned the ignition off and than turnt the key half way and the radio worked.When i turn the engine on to start the car the radio goes out and if i push the key right round to the right of the barrel and keep it their with the engine on the radio also works then,let go of key engine stay on but radio goes.

I was wondering if anyone can help me i checked all the wires all seem ok.
