more like 165 / 40 16's lmao!

Good stuff. Need my corrado mapping after fitting 268's. Was this an off the shelf item premapped? and as above how much $$?
-
all corrado 2.9 VR6 lumps are OBD1 (you get early dizzy, and late coilpack)
-
Wouldnt bother, waste of time.

Clio williams are top motors. My old one managed a 14.0 1/4 with Just breathing mods + remap and a good strip. Probably quicker then my corrado vr up to say 100, but thats when the vr comes into its own. It used to hit the limiter in 5th @ 130 and anything above 90 was a little noisy and uncomfortable. Great fun little car though. few vids of her (not me new owner) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yLNHqP5PQk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBm0IZxZUFQ&feature=related

Yep, just need to swap the 16v bellhousing over to the vr one. Same ratios with a 3.6 FD.

Agreed, they do top work only problem is price. was quoted £1100 for a two box cat back system on my raddo!

Tapping noise from engine when cold
Steve @ replied to Dragon6's topic in Engine Maintenance and Problems
VRs suffer with piston slap when cold, probably the sound your hearing. -
Yeah as above i run the later top pad and tensioner on the double chain on the rado.

port match the lower to the upper manifold. u can also tidy up the lower to hear side but dont open it up to much. matched mine, whether it makes any real difference is hard to say.
