    I am thinking about putting a turbo in my 1994 VR6 Corrado. I was wondering if anyone could help me out I have never done this before and I want to get the most HP for my buck. If anyone has any links or research they have done that would be helpful I would be grateful. Thanks

    why does the electrical connection look so much different then any of the ones I have seen online to buy??

    What is the sensor called that is inside the radiator? It is located right above the lower radiator hose on the driver side of the car. I think whatever it is I need a new one it looks pretty bad. Here is a link to what it looks like http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p273/littlebear22/sensor/

    No i didnt. I did not know it had one. Where is it and where can I find one. I am still looking for a 160 degree fan switch to if anyone knows where I can order one of those.

    Finally got everything up and running no leaks YEAH!!!! I just don't understand one thing I put the 160 degree thermostat in and unless my gauge is off I am still running way over 160 degrees anyone have any ideas

    What is the part that is circled in red? She is leaking coolant right there at the T. I was wondering if a leak there would make my car run poorly cause it sure is and thats the only think I can find wrong.     Changing my thermostat on the corrado has proven to be more of a chore then I expected. That thing is leaking like crazy. I changed the seal and RTVed the hell out of it and still it leaks anyone have any Ideas. I will post pictures and directions online as soon as I get her all buttoned up so if anyone else wants to take the challenge of thermostat changing they will at least have pictures to follow if they cant read LOL!!!

    Does anyone have a easy way to change the thermostat in a VR6 Corrado? If so hit me up I know I can figure it out but its alot easier to do it if you have directions from someone who has done it before. If any has pics to go along with it that would be great to!!! Thanks

    I was wondering if anyone knew the best place for me to get a 160 degree thermostat for my car. Here in florida its just way to hot for the stock one and I have checked the local parts stores and cant seem to locate one.

    If you know the previous owner did not use synthetic then just top if off with a non synthetic just to hold you through till you get the full service on it. How old is your VR6? Just keep in mind that when switching to a full synthetic from a non-synthetic you may get some leaks depending on the age of the car! Full synthetic cleans and lubes so well that if any seals or gaskets are going bad full synthetic will find it and leak because a non synthetic does not clean as well therefore does not cut through weak seals and gaskets as fast.     Thanks for the comments but explain a little bit and hook me up with some sites that would get me on my way to giving it the best look I can. I guess you would have to see it in person but the rims are part of what make IT POP!!!! This is my first VW so seriously any help I can get from anyone who will give it is fine with me.

    Where the throttle cable hooks to the throttle body (and I will put a picture up later. cant right now working) there is what appears to be a plunger that holds the throttle in place at idle. Fist off what is that part called? Second mine I believe is going bad cause I cant adjust my idle any lower then 1500rpm and then sometimes it drops to under 800rpm it very irregular. Does anyone have any advise? Well I feel like a complete IDIOT!!! I got under the hood when I got home from work tonight and low and behold my MAF was disconnected it appeared to be plugged in but when I grabbed the wiring h

    I have the same problem with my corrado I don't believe the tanks are baffled. I have looked around and no dents on my tank. I am going to check the breather but I just think the tanks were never baffled

    I have never owned a Golf VR6 but I have driven one and I now own a rado and I love it. I still have some work to do to it but wouldn't tade it for anything.

    Does anyone know where I can get a screw kit for the interior of car?? I took it apart a few months ago and as you can guess screws, nuts and bolts are coming up missing!! I want to put it back together this week but need those damn screws LOL!!!
