    OMG was thinking along the same lines. Probably going to get rid of my DBP MK4 R32 next summer and replace it with a GTI edition 30 only in WHITE.

    Well i sold my VR Highline 6 months ago and got myself a MK4 .:R32 and i have to say i just love it but i do miss the VR roar. I am trying to tempt my brother to get a VR6 so i can take it for a blast just to hear the ROAR it makes !!! lol.

    Going 2 leave it standard this time round but it does already have a miltex exhaust which sounds superb.

    I don't know about race seats but it does have the full heated leather konig bucket seats that come as an optional extra.

    Yeah im loving it so much. inmo it is an overall better car than the VR but not as fun and u can't beat that VR noise.

    I got mine put on by jody last year with vibra tec engine mounts but he knew that i was going to come back later to get the raceland manifold taken off. I had a 3 box jetex exhaust and BMC CDA. The power was noticable in the mid range to top but lower down felt s**t.

    Try Midland VW up in cannock. Jody wrapped mine for me and put it on. But i took it off because i did not see much of an improvement with it on.

    The R32 does feel more powerful than the VR but i aint been driving it around. It has the previous owners private plate need to wait for dvla to send me the paper work for the original plate so i could by tax. I also noticed the other day that the R32 has a miltex exhaust happy days. I sold my VR to a mate in birmingham for £3900 including the plate. His loving it !!!!!!!!

    patpong_pete its true wat u sayin but at d end of d day what is a highline? Its just u get all d optional extras and my R32 has all that. U can get highlines in boras, passat, BMW's and other cars. Looks like im going 2 let d reg go wid d VR anyway.

    Bulldog thanks 4 ur input dat is d exactly same reason why i want 2 put it on d R32 because everyone around my endz knowz d eye catching plate belongs 2 me and wen its on d R32 everyone would rememba dat it was once on a VR highline. But den again i cud only fetch good money for d VR if d plate waz 2 go wid it.

    I hav had d VR 4 2 and a half years. The R32 does sound mental but d VR has its own unique sound once fitted wid a BMC.

    I had my reg valued by regtransfers and they are willing 2 buy d plate off me 4 £750. The plate does turn alot of heads wid it on d VR. The mileage on d VR is 106k and is 1 of d best VR driven by jody at midland vw up in cannock with no faults on vagcom or any rattle/squeaks. He said i shud fetch good money as there is not much minty VR left. By d way im going 2 miss d VR noise soooooooooo much !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have a buyer who is willing 2 pay 4k for d VR and d plate. The plate being valued 4 £750.
