    I had the exact same symptons on my VR. Got it hooked up 2 VAG COM and showed up front right wheel speed sensor which was d ABS sensor. Got it changed all is good again.

    I've got a 3 box full thru jetex exhaust system its very quiet just like the standard system but it sounds really sweet at high revs especially with the BMC CDA. After a long motrway drive the exhaust sounds nice and deep and u can always have a conversation in the car at 70mph.

    I changed my front ABS sensor recentley and all i did was drive the car up the road and it went off no need to disconnect the battery or re-setting never seen it come back on again. Only on start up as usuall.

    Get it put on VAG COM could be one of ur ABS sensor has packed in. Happen to mines when i changed my front pads and VAG COM came up with front right wheel speed sensor. Got it changed problem solved.
