  1. Does anyone know if you can convert the front seats out of a 5dr mk3 golf so that they can tilt forward to gain access to rear in a 3dr mk3 golf. The seats are out of a mk3 highline vr6 Any help would be appreciated Steve :-d
  2. Yeah, does need lowered. Savin up for some coilovers and some spacers. Ain't gonna go to low, want it to look like it came out of the factory that way if ya get me
  3. After smashing my VR6 I had planned to get another but then saw this GTI Anni and couldn't resist. Still gonna get another VR but more than happy with this at the mo. Only had it 3 weeks but i've given it a good tidy up, stuck in my Highline interior, Full exhaust system and german style plates. Hope you like it Moderator edit by: Antera309
  4. just one question. How do you come accross sh*t like that lol Steve
  5. Don't get me wrong mate, I agree 100% with you. If it wasn't for sh*t drivers i'd be getting a bike for going to work and for weekend thrashes. And like you say it is car drivers that need better education, but, realisticly, what are the chances of that happening? Pretty much no chance i'd say. Every biker I know or have spoke to have had really close encounters. To me a bike is for fun, to wring it's neck and to try and improve your riding skills, to get your knee down, and just having a great time. Don't get me wrong i'm no nutter on a bike, but if the road was clear i saw nothing wrong with
  6. Yeah, i'm a biker. Although must say that i now think riding on the road is far to dangerous as there's too much traffic on the road. I'm also from aberdeenshire, and compared to the rest of the country the traffic up here is a lot quieter than down south, still to busy for a bike in my opinion. My mates have cut down on there road riding since i had a bad accident back on the 3rd june 2005. Got clipped by a car going the other way, but that was enough to smash my leg, wrist and shoulder. Had a big frame round my leg for 9 months, which was pleasant :-( Then in a full leg cast for 6 months,
  7. Just wondering what you guys reckon is the best suspension set to go for to make my VR a better handling motor. Looking for something that's not too low, not overly worried about how hard the ride is as long as it's not back breaking. Any suggestions be much appreciated. Cheers Steve
  8. looks to me like it was put on there so it's easier to push when it breaks down
