    I don't think that is a good price at all. Do you have any diy mechanic skills? If so you could have it done in a couple of hours. But like, the pump is £30, £270 for labour is a bit steep IMO

    I keep my MFA on either oil temp or time - don't even bother with MPG. Just enjoy it I say. The Golf VR6 was not built to be an 'economical' car. Fact.

    I got pulled on the M6 last week for, ahem, speeding. I have german pressed plates in the correct colours with GB badge - plod didn't say a word about them?

    I have infinity 6012i refernece speaker sin my golf and the factory grills fit fine. I dont understand why yours dont?

    my abs light comes on now and again, then next time i start the car it goes off. Braking is never impared. weird.

    try using it with the rev counter past 4 - it's much more fun and this justifies the extra fuel consumption as the noise becomes like an addiction and before you know you are driving forty miles out of your way to find a long tunnel to listen to it in!! Sorry, got a bit carried away there

    i have a k&n panel filter in my oem airbox. There is a large cone inside the airbox which i have removed. my car sounds fantastic and revs a bit more freely than before. I haven't used a BMC before but i did have a K57i on my Gti which didn't do anything positive to my car,IMO. if anything I think it caused me more problems than anything and didn't sound any better than a free flowing mini cooper! There, thats my 2pence worth!

    i think the main speakers are 6" there are some tweeters in the dash as well but i dont know what size they are!

    is your car lowered? if so 45 or 40 would be better imo I had wheels with the same et as yours and the front were fine, i used 5mm spacers on the rear spacers were about £12 for a pair

    oh right! I'm getting my front end painted soon and was wondering if anyone had 'moved' their washer jets from the top of the bonnet. Looking for ideas where to shove em out the way!

    where have you relocated your washer jets? It looks really good without! lovely car mate.

    you might find without spacers at the rear that your hub bolt covers protrude through the wheel not allowing you to put a centre cap on your wheel.
