    as title really . im after a set of RS4s or RS8s but im not sure on size . 18"s will look pukka i reckon but will i get probs with rubbing etc . but then i dont want to go for 17"s if they dont look like the wheel the arch enough if you know what i mean . so can people put up some pics of golfs with 17s and 18s on and tell me roughly how much they are lowered . thanks in advance .

    lovely . what size are the tyres mate ....... Patpomg Pete : just went to upload some pics but photobucket is offline for maintence ?? as soon as its on i will upload a couple . rates are good cos i aint got any silly overheads etc . plus the wood i use is pukka ./ none of that cheap crap stuff from wickes .

    just read this on another site . thought id share with all Has anyone else worked out that they can sort of hack the mfa in their vr6, might also work on gti's.. Basically, press and hold the trip reset button, without letting go of the button turn the ignition to no 2 (just before it starts the car) then turn the ignition completely off then start the car (don't let go of the trip button till now) now the digital milometer will display "1".     hi all . im new to the golf scene so i aintgot a clue how the MFA works ?? etc anyone want to do me an idiots guide to it ?? ive got the MFA button which shows different things ? , on the face of the stork there is a switch that goes " 0 1 2 0 " but the switch wont stay in the second 0 postion and then on the clocks there is a button under the mileometer and then under the MFA display looks like 2 little buttons on top of each other love to know what it all does if this is in the wrong place , sorry ,

    ive just got my self a vr6 . its on 102k and its got full history and stamped book . cant find anything about chain change etc ?? when do they need doing ??

    just goit myself a vr6 and am after putting a set of rims on it . i was looking at the audi six spoke wheels but they seem to come with 225/45/17 tyres ?? seem a bit wide too me . will they fit on a vr6 or do people have to get thinner tyres ???? cheers peeps !
