    Hi folks, thinking of getting a power boost valve for my P reg 1997 vr6, i've got a few questions i hope some of you could help me with. can i get one to fit my car, is it worth getting one, and any other info on this item would be very helpfull. just one more thing, is there anything else that i could get to go with this upgrade???? many thanks roey

    P plate and 101,000 on the clock. not had chains done.

    Hi, just went to go out in my car, went to start the car and it won't start and the steering lock is stuck. don't want to pull to hard on it and snap it. Has anyone got any help on this matter please roey

    just make sure they do not charge you for sorting it out.

    i would only do 1 thing, at that is get on the phone 2moro and find out what the hell they have done and get some answers.

    i would have thought if it needed a new oil pump, they would have told you. for the amount of work they have done they should have check your car over for things like this. they should have tested your car after doing all this work ie: a road test.

    i would be stressed to mate, i would be on the phone asap, i'd be wanting to know what the hell is going on. for almost £1700 your car should not be pumping out blue smoke. sorry to say this mate, but driving and getting it hot may have done more damage to the engine. keep us up to date on what happens. roey

    yeah did not like the 1.8t, should have stayed with the vr6.

    mercedes SLR, can do a top speed of 210mph and costs about 360k. ill have 2 please lol

    hi, i'm after a strut brace for my vr6. which one should i go for?? and which one should i go for and where should i get it. do i have to drill the strut brace onto the top of the struts like i did on my mk4 or do the fit abit easyier than that. sorry for being abit think on this. but any help would be usefull. cheers roey

    Hi i'm roey25. Like the title say's, been a member for less than a week and had my vr6 for less than a week. This is the second vr6 i have owned and made a big mistake selling it for a mk4 gti 20v turbo. so sold that and bought this. the pictures show how the car was when i bought it. Got things planned to improve the looks and other areas. Things done so far: Set of 17" alloys, lowered 40mm and magnex system, not really that much but it's a start. Please take a look at my thread on Things to pimp my ride in the wanted section. Please please let me know what you think of my vr6 and any helpf

    hi rob, i have a set of bbs alloys kicking around in my shed. they could do with i refurb. they have tyres on them. they look like new ones. still have the nobble bits on the edge. i got them with my car. i could get you the refurb done for you by the person i use at my work. i work for mercedes benz in milton keynes, sorting out all there paint work and alloy wheels. He charges around £50 a wheel. but its up to you if you want them doing. let me know what you think . Roey

    if i could get away with only paying £200 then i would m8. only problem is that i'm not very good at doing work to my car, so have to get someone else to do it.

    cheers for the help. don't really now if they need doing, just hear so many storys about them going. my car has done 100k but has full service history. even to get them ckecked cost loads of money.

    just bought my vr6, been looking at peoples threads about timing chains. so i made a few calls to see how much it would cost. i was told the cost would be around £850 inc parts and labour. would it not be easier to buy a re-con engine and have that fitted?? your thoughts on this would be helpfull so i can make my mind up.

    cheers for the help, having a service done on sat. so i'll get the oil changed then. also having pads and discs all round. not cheap

    Hi, thought i'd just post this message for a set of bbs alloys with loads of tyre left on them. i got the alloys with my car as spares, as my car as got a set of 17". if anyone is after a set of alloys, they could do with a refurb then get back to me and we can sort something out.

    yeah cheers for the help, i musr say that i was giving it some stick when the oil temp was at 100. just can't help but give it some stick, the sound of the engine with the k&n and stuff sounds the bees knees.
