    well been on the phone to CAB who were less than useless, just read what was on the dvla website out to me like i was some kind of illiterate dimwit who cant use the internet. i asked if they had a free legal advice service (i knew they did cos its on the website) and they said no because im not on benefits. so phoned the dvla enforcement office, who said the fine ive already paid was just the ncp clamping release fee and surety in lieue of valid tax disc also explained that they could not offer me an out of court settlement (rape) as the car has been untaxed (although SORN) for too long, and

    so ive got a mk2 on a SORN for a few months at the begining of the year it was parked in a parking area to the rear of my flats at one stage i reveived a notice on the car from property management saying that it was illegally parked as it was untaxed and in private residents parking. so i thought nothing of it, as if it is private parking then as a resident i can park it there with SORN fast forward to April, i get home from work to find a clamp on the car from the DVLA. the sheet under the wiper was official, had the number of the local enforcement office and the fine ammount. but nothing to

    basically trying to send a PM and it says my inbox is full. so ive deleted about 11 pages and about 8 of outbox and it still says its full has our mailbox limit been capped?

    build looks really nice. cant beat a pretty VR6! had the oil issue myself last week. changed the sump and got some 10w40 from ECP. it thinned out and started to sound like a bearing was going. chnaged it for some synta 10w40 and much better. old stuff looked like guiness when it came out

    fitted my inpro's with 6000k HID's, all worked ok. then driving home at night went over a pothole and the drivers-side main beam went out, sidelight was still working. i thought it was a connection on the HID's so took it out and re connected but still nothing. thought it might be the ballast, so swapped it for a spare. still nothing. disconnected the HID's on both sides and put some standard bulbs in, and now neither side main beam works, but both the sidelights do :^) very puzzled anyone got any ideas what it could be?

    Stevens? and AudiVWspares? think i got my 2E bottom end from the Arundle place, the former was too expensive! i'll try the Arundle one though i'd forgotten about them

    what are you gonna do with regards to the lambda's and wideband? get them deleted on the ECU side? only ive heard of cars being very underpowered in this instance

    hhmm hoping to find somewhere nearer south london, dont have a great deal of time to go driving about and work centrally so impossible to get things picked up/dropped off
