  3. what one are you VRT guys using/used when running a Begi? i hear split second tuning mentioned, but they list a few on their site. whats the one to go for? also are they available in the uk or just order fromt he states?
  4. nice work yeah bridgestones dont have the strongest sidewalls. nice for a stretch but not for flex running 215/35 Falken ZE912 on my 9.5's and theyre a lot stronger

  9. i'd say the opposite. why would you need air-ride for a show car, that only gets driven to and from shows? if i had 2k i'd get air-ride you can make it handle far better these days. you can get kits to use any shock insert you want, so kw, koni... then uprated arbs and polybushes jobs a gooden

  12. poop again. i was actually considering it as a possible 'cheap' alternative to rebuilding with an lsd. the 6 speed would just be a bonus. ah well i'll wait for a good price on the wavetrak

  14. thats typically thoughtfull of them did the R32 type VR go into anything else, like the VR went into galaxy and alhambra? (see what im thinking here?)
  15. ok so just jumping on this... apart from the mounts etc whats needed to make the 02M work on a VR? how do you close off the prop shaft? what clutch?
  16. looking at that, can you not use the shorter R32 oil pipe on the VR pump? almost cuts the conversion cost in half then...
  17. ok guys so whats involved? obv. needs to have the prop shaft taken out of the equation, but you just take it out and get a plate made to blank it off? C2 do a mount now i see does it fit straight up to the VR block? what about flywheel, clutch etc?
  18. same situation myself at the moment pretty much everyone ive spoken to has said KW v1's mines not a daily as such, but its my only car and i dont track it, but i run it very low been told that down to 100mm they feel like 30mm! so must be pretty good if anyone knows where i can get them cheaper than 625 i'd appreciate it!

  20. again just fantastic work only seen the stock air box used on one other VRT and that was in the states, does look so much more trick and OE
  21. with tyres and wider outers, new bolts, getting the outers restored (they were pitted to F**k) paint plus buying the wheels prob £800 theyre merc fitment so im running adapters up front and had the rear disks redrilled to 5x112
  22. not as much as you'd think! bought them used but original, fitted genuine BBS 2.5" rear dishes, new satin black bolts and respayed the centres just sold my 17" versions too
  23. im after a supplier for couplers, straights, reducers etc for the intercooler routing on my VRT obv want quality but also competative rates and good service thanks
  24. not so run of the mill, but BBS all the same RF Design 5000 in 16x8 and 9.5
