was pretty good day apart from the bottom end has shat itself in the que to get in engine is goosed

back on track head gaskets all done picked her up today sweet as a nut

got my tickets weyhey but............ head gasket has gone on the vr so its touch and go to get it ready in time it in the garage getting stripped luckily he is a vw fan so he told me it should be ready if the head aint cracked

not bad is it just a runner or is this project number 2 vr6 front and back sounds good :-d

which black rims chromed lip ones? they were not mine they were put on for the pictures

its chrome/black powder coating looks really well I think compared to the original colour just needs dropping a little bit more i think

took a couple of pictures today with the new wheels on photos are a bit naff as they were taken on my phone problem is wheel weights rubbinbg on my caliper and the front wheel seems to be jammed on now cant get it off

thanks guys costing a fortune but I dont care I enjoy it hopefully getting the new rims put on tomorrow so I will take some pictures just got it back today had new chains tensioners guide rails done still tapping got a sticky tappet which is annoying

ah I never went for the wide track could not be chewed on changing the rear axle i got th emk3 frame with mk2 bottom arms mk2 shockers are the g60 top mounts better then gti ones I never new they was any difference

right thought I would put my car up on here from the day I bought it to now I purcahsed it as a 8v gti back end of 2004 looking sorry for itself off ebay for 750pounds stupid blue neon lights all over it and in the spot lights so I tried to tidy it up as best as i could at the time on my poxy wage head gasket went fixed it then it went again few month later so I decided it was time for a change got a new lump to put it and the car sat around for some time before anything was done about it then the car went off for a lick of paint to freshen it up a little everything went well f

yeah its all converted wanted to run vr6 brakes did not like the g60 setup i had on first just after some spacers to make them sit slightly wider to fill the arches out a bit

the ones currently on the car are 16" not sure what make they are the ones I have just bought are bbs off the mk3 golf vr6 15" my camber is also a mile out no one would attempt it something about making the holes bigger on the stuts so they had more adjustment to sort it out so I just had the tracking and the toe done for now so my tyres dont wear off

just got these for my mk2 hopefully have them fitted for vw festival what do you all think here is a few pics of my mk2 also
