  11. hi ther, i have a 1997 golf vr6 highline with 93k on the clock. Im having problems changing gear with it seeming to hit 1st, 3rd and 5th rather than slotting straight in. iv been told it could be the clutch fluid may need changing. Is the brake and clutch fluid in the same reservoir on thr vr or are they separate reservoirs. Also if my clutch does need replacing i would also have the timing chains replaced while the gearbox is off. Having the work done at the volkswagen dealer how much should i reasonably expect to pay to have the work done.
  12. hi ther i have a question if anyone can help......iv got a 97 golf vr6 highline with 97k on the clock i sometimes have problems changing gear with it seeming to 'hit' the gear rather than slot straight in, the clutch doesn't seem to be slipping under acceleration and this problem doesn't happen on every gear change just on the odd occasion......any help and advice will be much appreciated
