    Hi, my left front tyre seemed to have worn out but the rest are ok. now iv changed the tyre and the pulling to the left has reduced alot. but the knocking sound on the left handside is still there especially when i take off from a stop. i have changed the ball joint but problem still persists. what should i check next? (something not so expensive just incase its not the problem)

    Hi, i bought the 6 branch raceland manifold from ebay. I have taken it to a garage to get it fit in but he said he cant do it because the pipe from the bottom is too straight whereas the original manifold is more curved from the bottom. also is it crucial to get it heatwrapped? Any advice on how to get it fit in?

    thanks il try the handbrake technique. see how it goes. but i think il have to supercharge it. my vr6 is pretty much standard apart from the exhaust and air filter. its quick but not rapid. had a old box shape civic vtec give me a run for my money and that was only a 1.6. also my vr6 gives me 25mpg in town and about 32mpg on motorway. if i supercharge it roughly what would my mpg be at?

    Hi, just wanted to see how everyone launches there vr6? (everyone that does). What RPM's to you keep at before launching? it is true its worth launching the vr6 since it has to much power for a front wheel drive therefore it would just wheelspin on the spot and it would be better off just going from the biting point?

    thanks. My vr6 is not heavily modified. just has a miltek exhaust system and a RamAir induction kit. Iv ordered my 6 branch and miltek decat pipe. When i fit the raceland 6 branch manifold and the decat pipe whats gains should i expect? also how diffucult is it to fit them in?

    Hi, some people have been saying there is more bad then good when putting on a 6 branch manifold is this true? what are the actual benefits and disadvantages? also with a 6 branch manifold and a decat pipe should you expect alot more fuel consumption? or not much? i would like all your opinions for once and for all especially from vr6 owners who already have the 6 branch manifold and decat pipe fitted. thanks

    i got a miltek exhaust. im going to get a miltek decat so it should fit perfectly. where can i get a 6 branch manifold from? apart from the raceland from ebay.

    Hi,i was thinking about getting my vr6 a decat pipe and a 6 branch manifold. How much bhp gain should i gain? and how would it sound? also would the cat have to be welded back on if i wished to put it back on?

    Hi, basically i have a annoying problem with my golf mk3 vr6. i dont know what it is so il describe the problem. while im driving the steering pulls to the left or if i do a full lock to the left the steering almost seems its turning it self i dnt have to put much effort whereas if i full lock to the right it more difficult. also when i clutch control on a up hill the left side of the car makes a creaking sound. i also hear this sound when i drive over road humps. iv been told it could be the steering rack. any ideas what it could be?

    would that polishing kit or them accessories from halfords make the inlet manifold finish mirror polish. just like the one in the pic with the red leads?

    thanx mate. wher can i get a polished inlet manifold like the one in the image. also i like the look of the 6 branch manifold but i dont want the exhaust to go loud. what differences would i notice if i got a 6 branch?

    i meant where can i get a 6 branch manifold from? will the exhaust be too loud? how would it sound with the 6 branch? also how can you tell wheather a cars got cams and pulleys?

    yeh how much does that polished inlet manifold cost? also what does a manifold do? how much increase in bhp? and would it make the exhaust too loud?

    also. i seen a few golfs with chrome front bit of the engine. is that ported and polished? how much does ported and polished cost?

    ok. i aint got £1000's to spend on supercharger and turbos at moment. what can i do thats for like couple of hundred quid that improves bhp on my vr6? any good vw tuners around the west midlands area?

    mines obd1. whats a 6 branch? i dont want a decat as it would make the exhaust too loud. Whats a rado tb? what is a vortech charger and how much would it cost? where can i get the bigger injectors? how much would ported and polished head cost?
