Thats exactly what Ive done to mine, Im a painter by trade so it was easy enough for me. As long as enough plastic adhesive is applied after they are preped then they wont suffer with paint flaking off!! A lot of cowboys dont bother with this and make a complete mess of the job. I fully cleaned them, keyed them, applied the adhesive then high build primed them to smooth them. Once the primer had been flatened, I painted them, easy!! Looks the bollocks

There is a place called Longlife that make custom exhausts for all cars and I know a few people who have had work done there, all to a very good quality. Im thinking of going there myself because I cant find a tailpipe design I like. They are on Stanley Park road, between Wallington and Carshalton Beeches in Surrey, not far from Croydon.
