  1. A mk2 golf and stick a 150 brake TDi mk4 motor in it.
  2. Getting old with the Passat, next is a pair of slippers and a cardigan :-p
  3. I had a 955 daytona triumph writen off, it was 4 months old and the insurance offered me £3350 less than I paid for it, I argued with them and told them to just get me a 4 month old same bike with 800 miles on the clock, or the amount they would need to replace it, I said I dont mind the money or the new bike. They paid up in the end and I lost the excess and a bit of depreciation, so I still lost but not too much. All insurance companies are rogues and need to treat people as they would like to be treated. Good luck with the claim.
  4. They do a 4.0 v6 and a 4.6 v8 Mike, the v6 is alot less of a car than the v8, or so everybody who knows Mustangs say, anyway. As for 59mpg I'll get the misses one then I can drive it and still have the TT for myself.
  5. When you do it you do it proper dont you
  6. Right you've had the VR6OC Word Association Game running for 415 pages and years now, so heres a new game to do... Right the rules are simple, only 3 words per post. I'll start off Once there was
  7. When I lived in Switzerland in the 90's you could go to the VW dealer and buy an estate VR6 in front wheel drive or syncro straight from the show room, the villagers who lived in the mountains loved the VR6 syncro kombi's as they called them, good for driving in the snow.
  8. My m8 bought a 10 month old 4 litre V6 mustang tonight, it was cheap for the age and car IMO..£12,800 but not my cup of tea. I drove his A4 avant 1.9 tdi home, which was 242 mile trip each way and what a great car that is to drive, a average mpg of 59.1 on the way home with an average of 57 mph. The last 100 odd miles were country roads, I did this cause I don't like motorways, the Mustang couldn't keep with the A4, because the A4 handles and the Mustang bounces and then steps out. Audi A4..... 1... Mustang.... 0
  9. Yes the VR went a couple of months back now, my family usually travel in our other car so the TT is just for me The TT build quality is the best of any car I've owned by quiet a lot.
  10. As promised, the pics http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d13/bulldogstaffy/DSCN62695099.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d13/bulldogstaffy/DSCN62705100.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d13/bulldogstaffy/DSCN62685098.jpg
  11. Bought a TT 2002, 02 reg 225 quattro, just got to pick it now. So sort of back to dubbing, I'll post picks when it's home.
  12. I like the way the wheels fill the rear arches, must have taken some doing to get it so wrong ...LOL
  13. SPEAK ENGLISH BOY, got a job to understand your brummy writing, LOL :-p
  14. After he'd beaten the M3 the M3 drive flagged him down and had to say that he was the best driver he had ever had the privelege of seeing.....LOL wink..wink..
  15. Ya got my vote m8, it's the only car there that I'd like to drive or own, the rest are real embarrassing to be seen in, I'd rather be seen naked in the high street hanging out of the backend of a sheep..LOL
  16. My last TT wasn't too bad Mike it was a 225 2000 X reg, it had had the clock changed and new calipars before I bought it, could have been expensive for me if I had to have done the work or paid for the work to be done. Best bit with the TT is the MPG and I'll be qualified to give hair cuts and perms. LOL
  17. The S3 got a 225 tt engine, and i've had an A4 2.8 30 valve before and didn't like it, had a TT before and did like it, so thats the way forward or backwards if you know what I mean.

    No luck

Could well be back to a TT 225, sort of dub family, I had to sell my last one to pay a tax bill and always regreted it.

    No luck

Well that didn't last long, the scooby proved to be unreliable and rather than an engine rebuild I sold it off, now am hunting for a German replacement, along the lines of something Dub orientated, Got to get some reliability back.

  21. I dont think it responsible to drive in this manner on the public highway, you may well be enjoying yourself but would you please sit back and reflect on this and take some time to think of the feelings of the poor M3 cab driver....LOL Good when you get one over on someone ent it.
