I'm in the market for tyres. Been thinking of either...... Toyo PX4 or Yokohama Parada Do these suit a VR6 or is there a better suited set of rubber to buy. Cheers.

I need an alarm with cenral locking on the button, wouldn't mind total closure (lazy locking) too, don't need it for the insurance so immobiliser isn't so important. Mainly want to unlock/lock on the button. Any recommendations greatfully received, and I'm not planning on spending a fortune either.

exactly no point whatsoever bidding until 10 secs to go!! I always bid at the start what I am happy to pay and then forget about the item - if I win it great and if not then it was more than I wanted to pay anyway !!! Exactally the way to play it IMO

It's just happened again, on the same style of wheels, no bids for 2 days and now last min out bid by £1. Ebay is getting a waste of time.

Not being nasty but I think the TT comps look better suited to the golf than most wheels. And VR6Lee they do suit the MK3 better than your wheels suit your car IMO, think of your wheels as some cheap canvas Dunlop tennis shoes.

You say they're common, but I haven't seen a Golf in the flesh wearing them, I've seen a few wearing D90's as my car does. The TT comps look ace IMO and did nothing for the TT, that why I put 19" rs4 alloys on the TT I had 2 years ago. Worst thing with TT comps is keeping them shinny

I was bidding on some wheels on ebay , I put he bid on the day the ad got listed at 50% more than the starting price which was slightly cheap, the amount I put on was probally a bit dear but I did want them and they don't come around too often. This morning after I had gone out the auction ended and 10 seconds from the end some A-hole bid 4 pence more than me and won them, it only had 2 bidders and I had been on it for 7 days only to loose out the very last moment. Really PI55ES me off that does.

is it teh colour concept that was on ebay just? cus i thought about doing that, but he had advertised teh car as having recaros so i asumed he wudnt swap! im gonna try and do that if possible... altho they look so much nicer retrimmed. OMG! sounds like a bloody good deal does that! did he not realise the difference in the seats?? The car went off ebay for the second time today unsold for the second time, it didn't have recaro in the ad, just heated black leather, and that is what it has now as it did before. He knew the difference in the seats but as he couldn't sell he didn't mind as he was

Just put some black leather colour concept recaro seats into my highline, the difference to comfort and driving is unbelievable, the best mod I've done to a car for years.

Whats with the front wheels on a VR6 that make them stick out further than the rears wheels do ? Anybody else ever noticed this.
