lewisjd88 replied to lewisjd88's topic in Members Rides and Event Photos
They are located in a plastic bag in my garage at the mo. Only took them off for paint. There's no spoiler, roof channel, boot plinth on there either. Hopefully everything can go back on for good this weekend...... -

I finally got two on Ebay germany. Thank the lord for Babelfish translator. Cost me £40 for the two. If I find the one I've got already works, I'll put the spare up for sale.

Hi all. I seem to have a non standard glove box on my 95 Golf VR6. I bought a handle and catch on egay and its completely different to mine. The handle on mine pulls horizontally opposed to vertically on all the one for sale on the bay. Its got a passenger airbag, which I assume is where the difference is? Any ideas? Where can I get a handle or glove box? Thansk for your help, Jim

Did you get any joy with the relay finding? Got same prob :S Jim

Shaolin Monk Do you think it would be better with un colour coded arches / side strips? They are going to need spraying, so if you think it would look ok with standard trim, then prob be cheaper to buy a new set. Also what would you suggest in the place of the fogs? Cheers for you help. Jim

Tis indeed! Needs a bit of sprucing up....... Low miles tho 49K Bodykit is a Zender one, which will need paint shortly. Nasty crazing! :-( Couple of rust spots to do. And get the heated seats heating! Will post some more pics when things start getting done. (tu)

I actually quite like the kit on it! :$ I wish the paintwork was shiny all over! Broke the first rule of buying a car - Dont buy one in the rain! Gonna give it a good T-cut all over to see where we are at. Then to the paint booth it goes! My first VR6! cheers for your comments, Jim

Hi all! bought this yesterday with the plan to restoring it. Does anyone know what the colour is? (I know its green!) I'll post more pics as things progress on www.gtisportline.co.uk/VR6.aspx Its got heated leather (But not very heated!) and aircon, so some toys to start with. Any advice greatly appreciated.
