cheers to everyone for their help, my mate broke in last night with some special tools it was a metal paddle behing the barrell £1.50.

cheers for all of the suggestions got a mate who happens to have some rods for getting into cars so gonna see if he can get in with them tonight.

yeh i tried the boot but didnt work im gonna have to break in i think maybe smash one of the windows so at least i can get in then and see what the problem is!

it was very cold, but it feels like there is nothing there when i turn the key like the barrell is not connected to anything!

Normally i use my key to unlock my mrk3 golf vr6 but came to it last night and none of the key barrels would unlock! Looks like im gonna have to break one of the windows to get in and sort the problem unless anyone knows of an easier way to get in? cheers.

just had the clutch fluid changed so it cant be that.

Do all golfs have an immobiliser pill in the key? mine is a 1995 golf vr6. cheers.

I have a 1995 golf vr6 and when the car is cold or has been in gear a while like on motorway journeys the clutch will only come about half way back up when relaesed and won't go into another gear. This makes it very difficult to get gears but when i pump the clutch a few times it seems to start working normally again. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or know what it might be?
