  1. Hi all i have loved my vr6 year and had to sell it.but now im back and want a track vr6 turbo with about 400-450 hp.whitch one will be the better one to go for? I dont know much about the mk4 4motion.thank you.
  2. I think the Toyo proxes T1R are better than the Yokohama Prada Spec2.if you want a awsome tyre go for the Yokohama AD08 they come in different compounds.the falkens are not to bad! What do you use it for?
  3. I put the pistons in untill the ring touches the block and the with a small flat screwdriver feed the rings into the block.it takes some time but I feel that works berst for me.if ypu dont want tho use a screwdriver take a bit of hard plastic.hope this helps.

Yep they would run them out here with anything.but when its a fully build merc V8, international straight 6 or big John Deere engine I would like to think that ive tried my best with the whole lot!   5. When I use to build engines that I know was going to be spare exchange units in South Africa I used Wynns super charge.it is nice thick stuff looks like syrup and disolves into the engine oil.really good stuff. Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk

  7. Hey I am a SA to.if you put oil down the bores and still low comp then your valves are stuck open/bent, headgasket not sealing or piston/bores major damage! Need to get the head back off.good luck.where are you guys in SA? Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk

  9. It is either the windscreen or I had it on the passengers side just under the windscreen where the two pannels meet it was leaking through there.good luck! Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk

  11. I had a wet kit on my vr and just plummed it into the fuel line with a t-piece and ran it like that for a year never had a problem.I was running a 80hp direct shot from 2nd gear on R888 tyres at pod.was fun but then came the family and it had to go. Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk

Hi all, ive had a mk3 vr6 golf few years ago but had to sell it.im now looking to get a mk4 4motion v6 and turbo that and have around 400bhp turbo will be a PT6262 or GT3582 how much different is it to turbo and what is the pain in the butt things to do?   14. Does this fit on the side of the throttle body? If it does then it is the tps (throttle position sensor) try ebay but get it with the throttle body. Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk
  15. Hi all,silly quistion,but when you turbo a vr and you get a chip with injectors and so on do you have to get the car mapped or do you just set the boost to what you like and the see how you go?thank you
