Hello peoples... today i was cleaning my Highline and i found two water leaks which are pretty hard to get to!! i was wondering if anyone could help me? i dont know where to start with fixing this!!! i have attached some pictures: This one is of the side of the engine where the leaks are, the areas are circled in yellow to show where the leaks are: this picture is of the leak nearer the front of the engine, you can see the anti freeze (browny/red) This picture is of the leak near the rear of the engine, it looks like it leaking from the bottom of the water pump (but im probably wrong) Tha

I think its an OBD2 ill get the engine code and find out for sure.. where would the ISV and the throttle body be on a VR6 and what would be the best way to clean the parts?? cheers

Hellooo again, I was wondering if anyone knew what would be the best cams and tappets to get for a VR6?? iv had my chains and tensioners replaced as the car had done 90,000 miles and sounded very tappety, the engine is still tappety so i thought changing the tappets and up rating the cams (might as well.. )would be the next thing to do..?? the car in question is a golf P reg vr6 highline. HelloOOooo.. I was wondering if anyone knew what it meant or how i can fix an annoying problem i have, at idle my revs bouncy sometimes, the idle will stay steaqdy then the idle will act as though i keep reving the car lightly repeatedly?!?! any help will be appreciated. Cheers H

Evening fellaz.. Iv got a little problem with removing the factory airbag steering wheel in my MK3, there are two allen key type bolts at the rear of the steering wheel to remove the air bag, one has undone quite easily but the other wouldnt budge and now iv sheered the bolt so there isnt any thread in the bolt now!! Does anyone know how i can get this nut off?? Thanks for your help

Iv got a quick one, has anyone experienced there wipers going crazy when you touch the wiper lever or on rough road?? My wipers both front and back go on at the same time really fast when i touch the wiper control arm or if i go over any dips in the road!! i only just touch the arm, it doesnt even move to turn any wipers on, sometime i cant switch it off so i have to move the arm up to the fast speed position then back to off and that sometimes works then i have to try and switch th rear wiper off with out start the front one off again.. .. i think the connection between the lever and the swi

im getting the Phat Dubs guys to do the work, iv never had a VR6 before, ony GTis, so not sure what a good deal is on a VR6.. The 6 Branch wont be wrapped as it looks much better with out, what would be the cons other then the cabin getting hotter, but i do have a/c so shouldnt be a problem.. your views please. Good Afternoon fellaz.. I was wondering what you guys thought of the following quote iv been given for getting the Chains & tensioners replaced, Rocker gasket replaced, Raceland 6 branch manifold (including gaskets) supplied and fitted, new Sachs clutch, rear crank oil seal... all in price £900??? So what do you think??? is this a good deal?? The work is being done on my VR6 Highline.. its done about 86K and is a p reg. Thanks

Evening.. Does anyone know what the problem is when you hear creaking at the back whilst driving, it sounds like its coming from the struts.. my car has coilovers on it, would i need a rear stuct to sort the noise out? becuase it happens on speed humps and when driving off of my driveway..?¬!?!?!?! Hello peoples.. Well i bought a VR6 a couple of weekends ago, Love the car to bits!!! but i have a few problems with the gearbox, it crunches pretty much everytime in reverse and sometimes i have to pull it quite hard to get it out!! The first gear is hard to select sometimes.. Anyone had this before?? any help would be much appreciated. Cheers H
