  1. well the bbs are gona have to go up for sale now as iv put a deposit on a syncro rear end sop wont be able to run them shame as i was realy looking forward to running them ah well should be worth it in the end roll on 4x4 :-d

  3. love this starting my own little project building one got the axel just waiting to pick it up hows it drive as mine pretty much the same setup charger wise is it still syncro or is it heldex converted
  4. looking good mate iv just bought a mk3 syncro back axel to do this on what was the dutch build kit like to fit?
  5. my interior is also all done so took a couple of pics not very good quality i went for a satin dye as im not keen on shiny interiors

  7. seats a pretty much done now im well pleased with them i didnt need to remove the leather but i did as i wanted to swap the warn drivers bolster to the inside passanger were it get very little abuse they came out much better than i expected all the cracks and wear is gone even got rid of the whole it does remove some of the grain pattern from the leather but i i aint realy fussed il get some pics up of the seat tommorow
  8. thanks and yer loved that car just had a massive issue with traction with it lol i sold my rhs a few days ago as i bought some 8.5" version and a set of 328 wheels dont have any pics of my new rhs as they getting painted
  9. sold my glanza a bit over a year ago only had the intention of getting something cheap and reliable while i looked for a 4x4 version to import over so i got myself a standard straight vr6 never took any pics as i wasnt planning on keeping it or anything a few month later i got it put in for a quick respray with a debadged grill nothing to top notch just somthing to smarten it up i then won some wheels on ebay was bit of a spur of the moment thing so needed some coilovers to get it sitting half decent a few month went by and still not look with finding another starlet so pretty much gave up

  12. im getting my car ready for paint can anyone tell me how the window come out my cars a 3door mk3 and i need to remove the winscreen rear sides and windscreen and i dont have a clue were to start

  14. ah cool thanks mite aim for 15 for now then shouldnt need as much tension on the belt as normal as im in the process of making an a set of pullys that are about 30% bigger than standard still mite increase the water n alternater ones further to try and reduce some of the drag off them only problem is im struggling to find a belt that is long enough
  15. can anyone tell me the most boost i can safely run with a vf charger at 9:1 comp i know the charger wont take more than 20psi once i change the bearings but im unsure on what the most boost my engine should be able to take if anyone can help me out that would be great
  16. im trying to find a space to fit a alloy tank on my car with out resorting to using the boot can anyone tell me how much space is inside the rear bumper between the fuel tank and bumper i would check myself but the frount of my car is right up on axel stands so cant get under the back bumper to see, if anyone has any pics of a mk3 golf with no rear bumper on could they please post them as that would realy help me out
  17. will the standard oil pressure sender be able to run a gauge insted of just putting the oil light on

  19. how would i go about keeping an eye on the charge temp can you get a specific gauge or something
  20. im using volvo gauges as the are use a one bar boost gauge which is good for my super charger i mite give volvo a ring and see about one of there senders just wanted to make sure it would read a high enough pressure for my engine thanks
  21. if your looking at turboing or charging it you could get your inlet coverted like this to hold a charge cooler within it
  22. can anyone tell me what pressure my oil should be at also if anyone knows were you can get a oil pressure sender for my oil pressure gauge that would be great
  23. its been fabricated from a standard inlet manifold i bought it second hand the only thing that is worrying me about it is im not sure if the bonnet will clear it so it may have to come back off
