  1. Well i guess this shows that "all communication to be carried our in thread" rule should be stuck too. Obviously not payment details, but having been stung too (not for that much though, very sorry to hear about that), I wish i'd done that. It will hopefully deter this kind of thing as everyone gets to see buyers/ sellers responses, so can hopefully spot the warning signs before it's too late. Hope it all works out for you mate.
  2. Nope, not heard a sausage. just gonna write it off as a bad experience. luckily the light i needed wasn't the smashed one, and after exchanging the LED's from inside, will hopefully work now - just need to take to autoelectricians. Wierd how an "as new" light would have led's missing from inside the light too!
  3. Nope, pretty much dead. he hasn't given me any contact details at all. Nevermind. Just learn from the experience i guess.
  4. Oh well, looks like this Mitch Pirie guy has done a runner. Cheers like. Keep an eye out for any other for sale items he may have.
  5. By that i mean if you'd have told me that it would be up to 28days for the claim, i wouldn't need to try to contact you within that time, would I?
  6. being 3 weeks since your last communication with me, how am i meant to know what's happening??? I don't an expect an immediate reply, but out of courtesy, an acknowledgement and update would be great. It's me who's out of pocket at the moment.
  7. Well, i have given him enough of a chance to do something about this, and still no word. Soured my experience of the owners club to be honest. Don't think i'll bother buying second hand parts from people here no more. I'm sure there are plenty of nice people, but seems as i've paid £85 for something that was not in "as new" condition even before DHL smashed them, just don't want to risk it no more. Guess i'll have to pay up for new ones. One more day, then i think the first negative feedback will be left for a member.
  8. Got in touch with him, yey. Hopefully we'll get it sorted.
  9. Well, finally received them. Smashed into pieces one of them. The other is hardly in "as-new" condition either. Nice one DHL. Need to get MK3-VR6 to contact DHL, but strangely he's not replying to my emails, again.
  10. I've bought & paid for these lights on the 9th October, and as yet this guy hasn't sent them to me or contacted me saying why there has been delay. Does anyone know him?
  11. I think the "pulling to the left" is a common thing with vr's mind. Still did it on mine even after 4 wheel alignment. At the moment i can't let go of the wheel though for fear of running down a pedestrian
  12. I have a similar problem at the moment. I changed the suspension to Weitec coilies a while ago, had it all laser alligned, then it went into the garage to replace a bearing the other week. they told me that the tracking was out, so they're re-done it. The car now pulls more to the left than before and whines/ groans when turning right!! Back in next week for the idiots to sort out. Maybe yours is a tracking problem too?
  13. Please check out this ebay listing. It's so ugly http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Golf-MK2-VR6-with-Lambo-Doors-and-Big-Sounds_W0QQitemZ140182405013QQihZ004QQcategoryZ9889QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem What do you guys think?
