    Ive got some black diamond drilled and grooved disks with black diamond predator pads they are much better than the oem disks/pads...........

    isnt that called lift off oversteer ? i used to get that in my 1.9 205 GTI normally in the rain when i was least expecting it (not going fast) i think its a lot of older front wheel drive cars suffer from it, but every car has its own handling characteristics not all of them particularly desirable. .......... it does sound to me like the dampers are set too high which would make it twitchier if theres such a word !

    Mmm this sounds too good to miss as i cant make E38 this year , be good to have something like this to look forward to. So any room for a newbie with a Corrado ?...........(got my own tent etc so would be camping) .....did i hear someone say brothel?.............. :S ............so if they charge a tenner an inch it'll be the best fiver i ever spent !....... 8-|

    yea im on the corrado forum as well, but i prefer this site, for general chit chat, as thank god ive had no problems with my rado (so far) so havent had the opportunity to ask some really daft newbie questions..............

    Thats fair enough, maybe in time i could go for the BBS like on the storm rado or maybe like the orig golf ones.cos i think these look good while keeping it in near orig spec. ive only had my rado for a month now and am just focusing on keep the car highly maintained(which is a job in itself) just out of curiosity if you were me what would you do to my rado? :S

    Next stupid question..................do you think 17" (if thats what they are they look it to me) would a) mess up the handling on oe suspension look a bit silly at the back cos the disks on the back are tiny and look small even with 15"'s My previous reply was made in jest (excuse the pun) , however i would like to hear your opinion or do you think that the standard rims look good anyway? i would like to keep the car as original as poss cos im coming up for chain renewal, clutch, etc just thinking about £££ [lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1187350004_6185_FT189862_dsc00153.jpg][/light

    cheers focker out, nice to know you appreciate what im doing even though it is a corrado ! i do get the impression its mainly golfs on here and can understand why bearing in mind how this web-site started, like many people have said before there's not much to choose between them just personal preference , but the work we put in to keep them clean is the same !

    cheers, the disks are black diamond with the bd predator pads, they are just running in and already i can feel the difference over the stock jobbies, a lot more bite :-p

    Ive got a un modified rado thats done 95k on a L-reg and it does 105 in third at just over 6,000 revs :-p

    Anyone who takes the mick out of a mark 1 doesnt know what they're talking about had two mark 1's when i was younger (admittadly 1.1 but i was 18 !) and they were great car so your mark ! is an excellent car at your age, just keep it tidy and dont crash ! :-p
