    Yea next year craig.........................still want to do most of the meets this year though...............ive been driving around in my pride and joy since the beginning of december due to Direct Line being a complete waste of space WITHOUT INSURANCE and to add insult to injury they re-quoted me £970 !! .........so now ive SORN it and its tucked up in me garage awaiting cosmetic and rust proofing work ready for show time !.....................its just been a catologue of calamities but at least i can keep it out of the rain until summer....................... :-p

    Im afraid im definatly out of this one, im taking my car off the road until summer........my company have told me i cant have any holiday around easter even though i booked it last year............so unless i get another job and get a passport in record time and rob a bank then i'll be staying in good old blighty.............so like oliver my tickets are up for grabs i paid a similar amount about £66 if anyones interested.................. :-( ................. :$

    28 looks like a nut which hold the spring plate down, these are already fitted on coilovers then as craig said i put the top mount with bearing poked it through the hole in the chassis then fitted 23 and 24 ( top plate and nut ).......................... :-p

    My driving license and tacho card was done with one of those machines and that seemed to be good enough just got to set the seat up correctly and your not smiling or picking your nose or whatever........................Dale...........

    As above, i got some new washers with my coilovers i would get some new 29's and 30's while your at it what about a pair of 9's ?...................... :-p

    The A507 is a favourite of mine nige, been up there many times with the Corrado, its going to be touch and go with the passport though, cos its my first one i cant fast track it. They say a six week wait i got the form just got to get some photo's of my dazzling features..................im going to try my best though...................... :-p

    Yea it sounds like a good team building exercise, even going away with a bunch of people you hardly know in itself is a bit daunting let alone everything else. I suppose whats the point of hiding your car away in a garage ? maybe thats missing the point and having a car like we have should be an enjoyable thing and not an anxious one................................ :-p

    Ok guys what you said makes sense and i cant argue with the logic as craig says. Firstly im a "leave it till the last minute kind of person" and i havent even got my passport yet. Secondly i need a new set of tyres anyway, and am thinking of the overal cost and what i could do with that money if i didnt go. Andy , cant argue with what your saying but i have two cars and the costs of running two cars and my flat and lifestyle are quite a lot on one wage. My runaround is a calibra and i dont really care about that one, maybe im thinking about it too much i dont know..............................

    There are lots of reasons Gav, the main one being i dont really want to. Money is one factor, and i think the risk is too great as i dont want to damage my pride and joy. At the end of the day its a personal decision and ive thought long and hard about it. Ingham they are flexi tickets so im sure they could be, let me know what you decide.............................. :-|

    Yea well done Helen it was well organised and quite enjoyable, after getting over initial nerves !.........i would like to point out that my car was running on 95 RON fuel (silly me got confused at the pumps ), although i think Jim had a long list of reasons why his car would be bad (sand-bagging), then ended up beating most of us!.......................... :-p

    i had one of those rovers its got the honda engine with 24v also had the vittesse sport with a honda 2.0 16v with a garret t3 turbo.....................good car till i crashed it (more to the point someone hit me head on)................................. :-p

    That is incredibly tight the bolts which are on the bottom of the strut to hub assembly (the ones that adjust camber) are only 95nm and i needed a bar to tighten them so 200nm seems a bit exessive
