    As some of you probably know, ive decided to keep my VR6 now. Its become to much of a joy to run and ive already spent to much on it to get rid of it ! lol. My next stage is to fully restore the bodywork, its booked in for the first week in december. Im looking for replacement body panels. I need for my peace of mind; front wings, back quaters, side sils. All of these have bits of rust which i want to rid of for good !

    Well i was welcomed by the postman as i walked outta the door this morning. He handed me a nice little envelope with my name on it. Inside was ... MY PREMIUM MEMBER CARD & STICKER ! heh, stuck in my back window already. This is the first owners club ive actually paid to be a member of and its thanks to all the help ive been given since i signed up here. Thanks !

    Nah, it was my fault i left the passenger door slightly open when i pressure washed the car lol. Simple but least it wasnt expensive ! Havent had the "problem" since. lol.

    Right theres slight rusting underneath the plastic trim on one side of my car, causing it not to sit right. I want to look after this car so a full respray is the first big thing on my shopping list. Does anyone here know a good bodyshop that will respray my whole car and re fit the trim etc perfectly ? Thanks, Damien.

    Well over the weekend a stone managed to poke a hole in my rad. Ive picked up a brand new one and wanted to know if theres a guide on here or any paticular way to remove and re-fit it. Thanks in advance, Damien.

    Its a remus backbox. Ive got a few subtle mods id like to do, such as lowering, rear tints, different wheels and some new discs. Thats it for now.

    Right, took it to a garage today. They said theres plenty of oil getting washed arround the engine. Also the 12 miles journey there was faultless, no light or buzzing atall. On the way back to, absolutley fine although it came on once or twice for a second or 2. So im thinking it could be the sensors or a bad connection ?

    I had an idea this morning. I started the car up and let it warm up ( The light never comes on when its standing still ) and then i opened up the oil filler cap to see if there was any oil being sloshed about. How much oil should be there ?

    Right i went to take it to my local garage to see if they could source the problem. Its booked in for tuesday. Funny thing was tho the light nor buzzer came on untill after about 15 mins of driving ?

    Yer, what happened was: i was driving to the petrol station and the light came on along with the beeping. I stoped left then engine running and checked for oil leeks under the engine bay etc, then i turned the car off. I left it for a few seconds and turned it back on. It started but when the revs died down it stalled, so i left it for 5 mins. Then i started it no problems atall. So i drove it home, the beeping and light stoped sometimes on the way home but started again shortly after.

    Well the engine seems to be running fine, no knocking and idleing fine. Strange. Yer i have checked the oil, its slightly overfiled if anything. At one point, right after the light came on the car did stall ?

    Ive had the car about 2 weeks lol, i only got it on the road today though. I was just driving up a slight hill towards my local petrol station keeping to the 40 limit. Then it just suprised me. Im not happy !

    How long have i got before it causes damage, cause i need to drive it about 5 miles to the VW garage in the morning. Do you think id make it ?

    Right, after the huge wait i eventually taxed, and insured my vr6 today. I took it out tonight and after about 30 mins of steady driving the oil light started flashing and sounding an alarm. Any ideas what the problem could be ? Im going to take it to VW tommorow to get it checked over, but if theres a simple cheap solution, all the better ! Thanks.
