  1. mine is £700ish cant remember exact amount. but i am only 21 and the car is a german import. 3 years no claims and some points. Its with HIC. very good company!!
  2. i did think about it for a while just for a laugh. but then i never did.
  3. save your money and do it your self. 250 is really steep imo.
  4. Congratulations!!! I see she is already trying to learn the potter pose....lol. Hope she doesnt keep you up too much at night.
  5. Had to put these wheels on because i got a flat tyre on the original bbs
  6. this was at my house not at the show.
  7. i wasnt with the tidy lot. I was with some people from clubgti. Didnt have a stand to be on so i was just in the normal car park. I had some chav looking 17inch wheels on. i will put up a pic in a bit.
  8. Not sure how much room there will be but it looks a snug fit. it looks the best fitting i have seen for the vr6. One company uses a box section frame and then a plate and i think it would hang way too low. soon find out though.
  9. hey, i went past a couple of times. the sign kept falling over. blondie you car looks great!
  10. oh sorry thought you ment on a 1/4mile...lol Yeah i can easily understand the time it was just the top speed that confused me 123mph sounds more like it. Bet it is a bit dodgy with all the power and weight in the back when goin round corners??
  11. with terminal speeds like that it should be more like 8 seconds. I am sure it is fast but not that fast. But as you asked yes i am sure you could get a vr6 under 12.5 secs with money spent in the right place. Sticky tyres will be a good start about 9 or 10 inch wide.
  12. yes i have no problem to make one because i am a welder & fabricator. But i dont have the time to mess about getting mesurments and trail fitting and all that faffing about i cant be arsed with. But i have a plan to see what i can sort out wink wink. By the way 3mm mild steel would not be strong enough and it will be heavy look rubbish and rust. stainless maybe but again will be heavy and expensive. Also they utalise existing holes in the subrame for mounting and use special bolts.
  13. £190 delivered It just protects the sump from damage from going off road and having a low car. Smack your sump on a raised man hole cover or a rock and speed bumps you will be in big trouble. Damage to engine, leak oil everywhere massive repair bill. i would rather spend the money now and not have to ever worry about repairs.
  14. Hey, I have just ordered my sump gaurd and it should be here next week. I will right up a review with pics of this. I know alot of people are interested in them. Cost $398 including postage (better be good for this price!!) Heres a few pics of what it should look like. http://www.bptproducts.com/
  15. i will be going but with another club, i will see some of you there!!
  16. Civic Type-R man didnt like it when i showed him german technology. Especialy when my car is 13 years older than his...lol
  17. must be a bit of a rocket with all that torque!!
  18. i have to say i like the look of the new one. seen a few in the flesh and pictures dont do it justice.
  19. i dont see any point on using super unleaded. waste of money on a standard car. Different story for high tuned or super/turbo charged car. I got 185bhp on normal 95ron on OBD1 so cant be bad.
  20. Cant wait till i hear the sound of all these VR's roaring down an autobahn!
