  1. Hi I had same problem in my vr6 96 the advice I got here worked I bought a new cap for the water coolant bottle and now it works no overheating. good luck
  2. Posted in another thread sorry My VR6 96 year model 3-door is blowing cold air it has a Climatronic and I did change the fuse to make sure it wasnt that. as weather is getting cold here need some heat any help much appreciated Thanks

Hi New problem I have a VR6 96 3-door sorted out why the coolant was leaking just needed a new cap as advised from here many thanks now as the weather is getting colder here (frost two nights ago) it is important m heater works but at moment only blowing cold air. I have Climatronic I did go an buy new fuses (could it be that simple, no) didnt help. Maybe you know what is wrong. thanks

Hi I have a vw vr6 year 96 and have a problem in that when I drive more than a few miles the coolant starts to bubble out of the overfill hole , I let it cool down fille with glycol (red) and water and can continue driving is this a head gasket problem or what also the warm heating stopped working is this a thermostat problem. many thanks for any advice
