  1. Could go down the ITB's route, Gareth Spillers Vento has an R32 on ITB and i think it has around 300bhp and sounds insane. That "big rons" mk1 glf has a 3litre vr on them too, dunno how much power its running though. Ken

  6. Nah more cos they sound shit hot wth the anti surge houseing thats all, love the whine you ge of turbos that run them. Turbo is used but has no pay in the shafts, made 520whp at 1.2 bar on the previous car it was on, a Supra that only ran that setup for about 2000miles or so. Its £350.
  7. The turbo doesnt have one of the anti surge housings which I had been wanting, would I be able to just take it down to an engineering shop to have the holes drilled or is there more to it than that? Ken

  10. Doubt I'd run any more than 15psi, that turbo would probably make about 400 bhp at that pressure would it not?

  13. Can get my hands on a recon'd T04R turbo for silly money as the guy is needing rid, but is it too big for a vr? 0.70 ar compressor 0.96 ar exhaust side Probably too big, but I can't resist a bargain lol Ken
  14. Sorry forgot I'd posted this, how much do you recon it'll cost for all the parts for rebulding the bottom end? Already have new valve stem oil seals just incase. Ken
  15. I've bought a 2nd engine to prep for turboing but its got a hole in the bottom end, also have a spare block with it though so can combine to 2 to get a nice fresh vr for turbotime. What I wanna know if what parts should I be replacing when the block is stripped down? Whats essential, whats ptional etc. Thanks in advance Ken

  17. Am about to buy a second engine, to rebuild and prep for turboing. Its a coilpack engine from a late L reg car, just wanting to know if there are any difference between the engine I have which is a R reg as I'm wating to just swap the 2 engine over. Thanks in advance Ken

  19. Great minds eh Sharky lol ATP site says lists the full T60-1 as being standard T4 inlet with 3'' vband unless another option is selected, dunno if standard T4 is divided or undivided though. Ken
  20. My manifold isnt divided so I'm prob best sticking with the T3/60-1 with 4 bolt instead of v-band. What size is the standard 4 bolt housing, Still 3"? Was gonna have a full 3'' system. If I could afford standalone I'd get it and be straight to you for that map! Ken

  23. My bad, I always associated that chatter with an external wastegate, so with running a recirc or dump valve what should it sound like or is it silent? Ken
