I have a 1997 VR6 Highline. No idea if the clutch has ever been changed. It seems to be slippling a little I am finding it hard to tell if it is or not cause the biting point is so high I am not sure if I am resting my foot on the cutch pedal accidentally. The problem only occurs when i'm in fourth or fifth. Has anyone had any experiences with this? I thought I noticed this problem in Mid Dec but have not noticed anything else to today????? Does anyone know what a clutch replacement would cost?????

I have just purchased a 1997 VR6 highline 144K miles. Still goes like stink. Would anyone be able to reccommend a place to get it checked out in the North west or Liverpool area. Also would you be able to tell me when or how often a Timing belt needs changed??

i have just bought my first VR6 HOLY S**t its fun. But I have central locking and a thatcham cat1 imobiliser. Does anyone know a good place to get the key fob replaced as i don't really want to pay the dealership a shit load of money. 1997 VR6 Highline!! Lovin it!
