    Power at pump and still not starting can only be pump did you check earth at pump plug as well

    Anyone know if you can get the idler pulley for tensioning the belt in metal rather than the plastic/reinforced fibreglass type it's the multi rib one I think it's the same as original tensioner

    I'd be tempted to change relay 109 I think it's position number 3 in fusebox they have a habit of failure

    Yeah I was thinking of going that route once I get running see how things look then get it mapped.i presume it's a case of pulling chip out to map as I don't think you can write to chip via diagnostic port on obd1?

    I luckily have a chip allready programmed for dizzy style vr6 running stage 1 charger so just plug and play

    109 relay common problem with fuel pump issues.but I'd be bypassing alarm incase it's randomly immobilising pump

    Test fitted charger to make sure no clearance issues seems fine so off again to get polished up bearings fitted and hopefully have soon booooost soon.

    Sorry my mistake if it's an early vr it's not got an immobiliser some of the later obd1 do have immobiliser

    Can only mean obd2 as obd1 wasn't immobilised.

    First picture is coupler without springs next one is with spring fitted

    This next picture is depth of housing where one bearing and coupler sits It will push on the spring coupler on assembly it looks like it is there to stop the strain on the bearings under force from boost pushing side on.

    What a waste of a good engine especially with it being limited to 90bhp

    Bearings removed were bog standard no angular contact ones.looks like they use the spring loaded coupler for any floating in bearings under boost think I'll keep the coupler get 2 new angular contact bearings and do a rebuild new seals new o rings and fresh oil.

    Just never saw or heard of z engineering fitting a spring loaded coupler to there chargers

    Stripped charger down for bearing replacement and seals etc found on Google a lot of folk saying main shaft has 3 bearings.mines has only 2 with a spring loaded coupler anyone confirm if this is original.cheers
