    It was for my mate he does have plans not sure what I'd keep it as is as it's only 37000 miles never saw a welder completely original but I think he might do just subtle mods nothing extreme.whats the plans with the van? R 32 fit in there nicely Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Long shot here but my mate is looking for either a mk1 or Mk2 golf he has around £3500 to play with obviously with me being up in Scotland I will travel if price reflects condition.cheers

    I had this problem when I did my mk2 vr6 conversion there is 2 early style is motometer later is vdo early is black back later is white

    I hooked mine up to a good battery put charger on good battery left it for an hour disconnected good battery now charger has accepted the red top and charging away fine

    Anyone have a red top battery I'm having trouble charging it.its completely flat I've got a sealey charger if I set it in a low charge it's putting roughly 10amps into it voltage is only 8v I don't want to ruin battery I've also got an electronic type charger but on connecting that charger it only let's me have an option of 6v charging.any help appreciated
