I lifted mines with hockey pucks so sits slightly higher for sump clearance.yeah i was recommended with putting maf before charger that must be a hotter spsrk plug.ive a set of internal bearings to fit to charger then build up before an attempt to fit

That charger fits in there nicely.have you much clearance between the inner wing?what plugs are you going to run? Just im rebuilding my zr2 up to squeeze into my mk2 vr6

If you look at there webdite it ssys early style has the orange plastic funnel and the later hss no funnel.mines a 92/93 vr

Think ive got a bit of both.im sure the tubes will be the same length but the orange plsstic piece will be added on for the longer dipstick.

Ok now im thinking i did the conversion on my mk2 the vr engine is an early vr dizzy style i read on gruvenparts that there are two dipsticks one gor early models one for later.the early models use the orange plastic piece on top of dipstick tube im sure when i first stripped engine down the dipstick was broken and as i have a spare obd2 engine i used that dipstick which would be shorter and now even more shorter with the orange plastic piece being fitted.id better get some measurements and part numbers from what ive got fitted

Yeah it was crumbling so i bought another fitted it then filled with oil which im sure was close to needing 7 litres to show on dipstick so i only put in 5.5 the previous time this time its quantum synta that im using with genuine vag filter so not wanting to under or over fill i was going to use a measuring jug if i got exact quantity needed. Thatd be great if you can and also the length of dipstick much appreciated cheers

Easy enough if i knew my dipstick tube i bought was the correct length i bought a plastic top tube but im sure its longer than the original

Benley manual states 5litres thats with a filter change as well but different views on some forums so anyone assist? Im doing a oil change with a new filter cheers
