    Due to me shaving my bay I extended whole harness and one wire wrong mixed the vss wire with coolant gauge sender supply it pulsed the supply to earth which I think stopped voltage regulator supplying gauges with a 10th silly mistake sorted now . Cheers for the help much appreciated<br/>

    Anyone know why I have such a low voltage on the blue/white coolant sensor wire?I've got about half a volt I'm sure it's either5v or 10v I've checked at engine harness multiplug and still same voltage

    Yes I had a check of things today I have a problem on the earth connection the pin 4 fluctuates with voltage when it should be zero as it's an earth I've had a look on a2resource the brown/white wire from g1/5 has a fluctuating voltage when running . must have a wire connected up wrong at fuse box I did notice it comes from cluster goes thru fuse box and comes out at mfa earth and then cylinder head earth connection..need to get another look tomorrow

    Hi all . I've now finished my project long saga vr6 in my mk2 I've fitted the mk3 dashboard I've got the link in for d8-e2 for my cluster but I've no fuel or temperature gauges working . I've had 3 clusters and new sensor fitted but no joy . I removed the yellow 4 wire plug from temp sensor checked for voltage on the blue/white wire I've only got 2.5volts on this . should it not be 10v from voltage regulator?any help appreciated . cheers

    Time to insure the project now all ready for mot . quite a lot of modifications any recommendations for insurance it's a mk2 vr its n/a for the short term but supercharger being fitted in summer so I'd be better with a company that would accept the changes to the car at a later date.cheers

    Cheers for the reply . The obd1 has motometer gauges the obd2 has vdo gauges I've had both clusters apart . I wasn't sure if both worked on same plug

    Cheers for reply I've got someone who can cnc me one up but without dimensions etc I'm a bit stuck.it would be easier if it were available off the shelf tho or if someone has a Cogged setup then maybe get dimensions.

    As I'm sorted now from ruf kompressors with a new impeller and since I've got it stripped I thinking of changing to clogged pulleys can you still get the clogged pulleys or does anyone have dimensions that I can get my own made up all just a thought just now since its in bits.all I'm after is little or no belt slip and less strain on bearings.cheers

    Ok I've emailed them and have had no response I've got another impeller there but its warped I can get inducer and exducer sizes and shaft size from that one and get a new one machined but I'll struggle getting it balanced as it rotates fairly rapid .I'm in Jo rush tho going to put it down for this winter's project try and get all parts first then go from there.it just seems no one is interested in these.chargers
