  1. nope! 8o| to gain access to "buses with attitude" you have to run a sub 18sec when there are BWA members present! when i raced at the pod my engine was not long built so could only rev it up to 3500rpm' date=' i managed a 18.68secs. i ran the 16.88secs up here in scotland so no members were here, it was at crail where traction off the line is gash. at the pod i should be running faster as traction is superb off the line. i sent in my printed times but they didn't accept them............. i also sent in a poor video again they didn't accept it!!!!!! here is my evidence!!!!!! :-| ha ha ha [img']

(h) i only want to do this once so i'm trying my best to do it right and remove as much rust as poss. as i'm doing the majority of the work myself this time it makes the bus even more special to me............... my splitscreen is for life....................hopefully! :-|
  4. when my handbrake light was on, i used a snap on modus diagnostics machine................. both front abs sensors were picked up on the machine so replaced them then reset the fault code and hey presto fault light stayed out!
  5. a wee update.............. this paint prepping takes ages!! been working on the inside filling and sanding to get a finish............ front hit with the da sander thing to see the damage............ new bulkhead section blended in............. new floor section blended in............ tub area sanded............ m code plate, tells a story!!!!! some outside filling has taken place and will update when can......... its not a lot but any progress is good progress! more sanding, then scotchied the full inside and masked stuff off ready for primer/painting!............. i have decided t

  13. went a wee drive up north with the pistonheads big boys! only 4 cars turned up, 3 belters and me in my VR6! was a real good drive, weather was a bit scary at times with snow and ice on the roads. the lotus lost it twice but stayed on the road! here are some snaps, enjoy!................. after the wee drive my VR was very dirty so treated it to a well deserved lick! a few fresh stone chips to my new paintwork already! looks some much better de-arched imo!....................... gave the interior a quick clean, still to condition the leather though! was a bit worried that my budget

  15. the dash parts clash IMO as they're walnut finish and the wheel is mahogany....................... can you get a knob in mahogany for an auto????? 8-| i only bought it to replace my leather one as it was ripped at the stitching! :-p

  18. i'm on an update mission! ha ha ha all my welding is finished and have painted the underside with underseal...................... now off the roller/jig and back on its wheels......... just started the prepping for paint! some photos of the completed works if your interested!!!!   19. cheers fella......................... thought i better update this as i will be keeping it for a while! getting all the wee tasks out the way that were bothering me! booked it in with The Garage(Wishaw)Ltd last month................ coilovers and geometry set up rear wheel bearings auto box serviced (new filter and oil) track rod ends oil leak fixed, rocker gasket replaced and now for the next hit!!!!! dropped it off on wednesday at the vwbuslane body shop for a check over! i asked Steve to remove the plastic arches and door trims to see if there is any signs of the dreaded rust hiding behin
