    Cheers dude, aye I've not even drove it for more than a few hundred miles in my ownership so it will be awesome to get it all finished and back on the road! ;-)

    Thanks Pete, I'm thinking that too, as more work gets done I'm more excited than when I built my Splittie! Lol..... Gerry boi has had my brakes colour coded to match the mulberry paint, supplied by big Stew too! Going out to see the car tomorrow so might have some new snaps then! :-)

    After Stew is finished the car is going to Gerry at PerformanceTek for a full brake over haul, I think he is going to colour code my brake pipes with some lilic ones! Lol he has just sent me a photo of my front Brembos............ These will be painted mulberry very soon! Here is a wee teaser of the car........

    Thanks guys, yup a clean family car, that's the aim! :-) Took a wee trip out to see the car, Bodyshop should be all wrapped up very soon. Took a couple of photos of it on the ramp..... Not long now!!!!

    Lol cheers for the confidence vote!!!! Ha ha ha, I have over 2 years manufacturer warranty but tbh only keep my cars for a year so hopefully will be good! ;-)

    Lol can't be any worse than my last 3 vw's with DSG boxes..........3 different cars went through 6 DSG metatronic units at a cost of around £2.2k a time, all covered under VW warranty thank goodness! ;-)

    Just been out a blast in it there, what a superb engine man, very smooth with plenty of power right through all the gears! Defo made the right choice over the 2.0tdi. :-)

    Our new A5 got delivered today...... 2012 A5 Sportback 3.0tdi S-line! It's an awesome machine, engine is super smooth....... Ice silver, heated black leathers, B & O sounds, MMI Tech etc etc........ Just need a Skoda now and that's me got all 4 brands! Lol :-)

    Yeah it's always the same dude, I've bought and sold plates for over 12 years, sometimes I pay way more to get one and others snap up cheap. Currently plates only sell if they are cheap but it's up to you what you need for it. Nothing wrong with advertising it for more and then there's room for the haggling?!?!?! ;-)

    Thanks very much fella, it's being built to use as a family hatchback thus the 5dr! It will be used all year round mainly at weekends but during the summer months, evening drives will be entertained! :-) So today was the start of the build up, mechanic was on site to fit all the goodies, it's taking shape for sure............. So that's the rear all bolted up with new weitec coils, new vw disc and nice shiney mulberry arches! Here is the new Milltek zorst bolted in place, was a straight fit and caused Stew no troubles whatsoever!!!! Lol........ So that's us till Monday, it's getting close

    So I got the call that my parts were powdered, what a nice sight seeing them all fresh and clean...... I opted for the same grey colour that will detail my bay and same finish as my wheels!..... Whilst I was up dropping the parts off with Stew I had a good sniff about the car, it really is a clean car, underside is just superb! Stew had just finished painting the inside of my arches Mulberry, now I know to most this is stupid but I really think it deserves a wee bit extra work!..... So that's it all ready to be built back up so it can roll then a full polish etc before being collected on

    17' bocanegra wheels fitted, going to order a wee set of 40mm lowering springs........ I have just bought another car and again it's not a VW, will update when it's delivered!

    Got all my bits stripped off and taken to powder coater.......

    No idea dude, we brought a mechanic into Bodyshop for a shift to remove everything, can ask him if you like?!?! Lol

    Another week over and big stew has been cracking on with the project, most parts are painted and the build up starts soon! In the mean time he has stripped off all the beam, wishbones etc so they can all be powder coated to match the wheels. Some new photos just in...... New windscreen fitted.... New rear screen fitted.... Beam off.... Whilst the beam etc is removed, the full inner arches will get prepped and painted Mullbery to clean them up! Front end stripped..... Same to front inner arches with the painted finish! I'm collecting all the parts on Tuesday to take to custom coatings so

    Cheers man ;-) So it's looking like it's all painted now and the build up starts real soon! Here is the latest panels that have been painted........ Smoothed wings.... Rear bumper, fully coded.... Modified, smoothed front bumper.... Coded handles.... Grills and trims.... The quality of the paintwork looks first class, this is turning out way better than I ever thought it would! Cheers :-)

    Well another day passes and more updates have came in, I went out to see the car in the flesh and it's looking superb! Really looking forward to the build process now! Wings all smoothed and prepd....... Bonnet in paint......... Modified (shortened recess) tailgate in paint........ The fresh mulberry paint is just superb! Cheers
